Marine Park Weekday Play
Course was great, getting into shape after the late start of the season. Great value for you money.
Great course, active work being done
Enjoyed the round, apart from a few holes where it feels like you’re in the middle of a construction zone. Overall very impressed with quality of the greens and fairways.
Alright
I played this course 3 weeks ago and it was in much better shape. The fairways are all beat up compared to what they were a couple weeks back. Doesn't seem like they are caring for the course right now. Greens were extremely slow. Pace of play was great though.
Fun track, great views, great shape
For mid-July, greens were in great shape for a muni. No blue tees at the moment so course played a little short, but still hit all the clubs
Marine Park is in GREAT shape!!!
The fairways and greens are in GREAT shape at Marine Park!!! Unlike some other NYC golf courses (Clearview and Pelham) the guys at Marine Park kept the course in great shape when the city closed it down due to the pandemic.
However, if you hit a shot too far left or right, you may encounter more fescue than ever. I think that change makes the course even better.
Marine Park Review
As always Marine Park did not disappoint. Besides being long, the length of the rough made the course extremely difficult and challenging. The pace of play for a Saturday was really good. Best value for your money when considering all the NYC courses.
First time back since 1993. The course still has character and is challenging but forgiving.
Nice Day at course
Had nice day at course.. Pace was great, staff nice as always. Course looked like work started was not complete, and no markers for any red tee boxes. This created some confusion, especially if someone never played this course before it would be a problem.
Solid City track
With the spacing of tee times I played a 4 hour round in NYC for the first time in years. Great to not wait on the group I’m front of you
Great course. Improvements.
This was my 3rd round in as many weeks as things are beginning to reopen due to Covid-19. Having played in New Rochelle and Nyack so far, I chose MPGC for my July 4th outing. I've played here in the past and the improvements are noticeable. Shockingly, the course was well maintained during the pandemic. No standing water, and the cart path in previous trouble spots are appearing to be getting a makeover.
MPGC has moved to the top of my short list of courses available to us here in South Brooklyn. The driving range is limited to irons only, so your only driver practice swings will be in the tee box before you tee off.
Super ice cold water and Gatorade from the grill was a bonus. Shot my lowest score to date. The pace of play was great. First 9 was done in a little under two hours.
Looking good
The forward tee,, especially on the back need work. There is a lot of new fescue requiring accurate tee and fairway approach shots
Could not play
5 people were register for the tee time when only 4 could play so I could not play. Need a refund.
