Marine Park Golf Course

5 people made reservation when only 4 could play so they did not let me play.

Very good public course and look forward to even better when all the new renovations are completed

First time at Marine Park. I was very impressed by the layout. Fairways were in great condition. Greens were normal city course conditions(so so condition). I was extremely disappointed in the bunkers. Hard as a rock, I’m not sure if there was more then 1” of sand. Tons of shells rocks etc in the bunkers. It was almost like hitting off the cart path. Besides the bunkers I enjoyed this course. Some fescue and mounds to try to make it link style. Overall one of the better nyc courses.

Great golf course getting better with every day . With work ongoing at every turn one can only hope that the golfer appreciates the course and play to enjoy .

best part of marine is the greens

new super came in last year and ever got them rolling. after 3 months of no play i expected them to roll. they were appalling slow - six on the stimpmeter!!!

Still Winter, but the course shaping right towards Spring. Fairway aerated, fescue has grown as of yet, greens look good, I anticipate that they will be great in mid spring. Beautiful overcast day slight showers allowed for fast play

Course we’ll maintain over the winter months, today was strong winds colder than forecast, “greens” always challenging today was no difference, hitting into strong winds sounds exciting but can break you as a golfer. (Lol). Overall fast pace course looks good, can’t wait for warmer weather

The staff could not be any better, great bar and food, awesome course layout. New second favorite course in the area behind bethpage.

Listen, it’s February in NY and we’re playing golf so it’s all good. Marine Park is becoming a go to even if there is some work being done and some standing frozen water. I’d put the back 9 up against most in the area, really challenging. Give MP a chance, don’t focus on the old carts or short driving range... place is definitely a great place.

Great greens make it hard to score. Cool dunelike bunkers and hills looks a bit desert dystopia. Easy to find stray balls. Sand traps had good sand especially for this time of year. Enough charm and upkeep not to be a dawg track. Always nice to par the last 2 holes.

Played here on Thursday 11/21/19 at 745 am. This is my first time playing this course. I was disappointed that it cost $67 to play on a weekday in November. The course itself was in good condition. Greens were quick and undulating. Course is wide open. You can spray it left and right without getting into too much trouble. I wouldn’t recommend playing here for this price especially in winter.

My favorite course in and around NYC is Marine Park in Brooklyn. With country club like greens and wide open layouts this is a fun and challenging course. There is usually a lot of wind coming in off the water so play an extra club length into the greens. Staff is always friendly and pace of play is usually great during weekdays!
