About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

afternoon delight
the staff are exceptional, especially Ray. the pace of play was terrific. course in nice shape. what else can you ask for. the tee set up controls the way you play the holes adding a little challenge just enough of the time.
Nice layout. Poor greens
Greens are horrendous. Dirt spots and ball marks everywhere. Could be beautiful if maintained better.
Not like it used to be.
The course has been neglected. I have played this course many times in the par. It was never one of the best conditioned courses but you could see the effort to try to maintain it. Now it looks like they have stopped trying. That's a shame because I really like the course.
Very Disappointed
This course has gone from great to horrible. I used to love playing here but it has deterrerated quickly. Charging $110 for a twosome would normally be fine, however the greens were airrated and in disgusting shape. On top of that charging an additional $30 for a cart is absured. Last time I will be playing here. Its too bad I used to love it.
Nice day, greens still healing from aeration.
Putting was better than last week, but still needs some rain to grow the grass and fill in the remaining aeration holes.
Bad conditions
Ive played this course a few times during covid and the conditions only seem to have gotten worse. The staff is great, and the range is grass so you get a better feel for your irons, but the carts are poorly maintained and the course conditions are terrible. The greens are dried out and cracking, the fairways are burnt, the tee boxes are all mis shaped and good luck finding a spot for you ball on a par 3 tee box. The layout is great which makes it a shame that the greens keepers dont know how to maintain a proper golf course. Definitely not worth the $80 to play during the weekends with a cart. Wasnt worth the $50 i paid to play on a monday afternoon, either.
poor conditons
tee boxes not great greens not great sand boxes hard as rock no ball washers no rakes other courses i play most have all these items out and are in much greater shape plus until today firs time i seen someone going around course with drinks and snack but very poor set up i played this course maybe last 5 yrs slowly seen it decline all cart paths are nothing but dirt or mud and huge holes doesnt seem to be getting adequate up keep or maintence
