Pine Ridge Golf Club
About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

Too slow, and not enough carts
Arrived 40 mins early, no carts available until tee time. Teed off 20 mins late. 3hr front 9. Quit after an additional 1.5 hours on hole 14. No effort to deal with the slow play.
Could be a great course, if….
I normally wouldn’t grab a tee time here given the bad reviews it’s been getting over the last couple of years. However, after playing it today, I was pleasantly surprised. Fairways, albeit tight, and greens were ok, with our foursome loving the big and fast greens. Staff was nice, practice area was good and they even had a cart person driving around. The most surprising part of this course is it’s layout and the more than a handful of picturesque holes. That said, more attention is definitely needed on the rough and the overgrown areas under the trees. Some of the greens had large patches but didn’t affect our play. Also, since we teed off at 7am, slow play was not a factor although, I can see that easily happening with tight tree lined fairways.
Where is the Ranger?
It should not take 5 1/2 hours to play around. Selfish group of —-holes in front of us playing multiple balls and getting drunk. I was beyond annoyed!
Ed?
Starter called my friend a moron.
Round took 6 hours.
Every fairway/green/tee box is beat up. Looks like they haven’t been maintained in weeks.
Stay away. Don’t waste your money here.
Pine Ridge
Plush well kept. Design nice & also challenging short holes with creative design
Horrendous
Tee time at 1:33. Didn’t tee off till 2:20. Didn’t finish round till 8 pm. Holes in middle of fairway. Greens in really poor condition. Stay away
First time at Pine Ridge
Nice layout in the middle of the woods. Challenging holes with thick woods on sides of fairway. I really enjoyed playing the course. Greens were in good shape. A little more TLC could make the course really nice. The pandemic is over. Time to make the carts included with price.
It was fine
The course needs work in spots. Overall, it is fine.
Not Worth the price
Course was in decent condition at best. Greens had a ton of unrepaired ball marks, bunkers are full of rocks, and the tee boxes were beat up
Dump
Place is not good. I tried to go again to give it another chance and it disappointed.
The sprinklers are always on.
Somehow this is the only corse I go to that has sprinklers on.
The greens are in pretty good shape but there a little hairy.
The foam in the cups has to go. Covid is over let me get a normal hole.
Tee off boxes are absolutely beat.
Pace of play was absolutely terrible.
The ranger was trying his best but the course just over booked itself.
This course would be a good course at $40 including carts.
For the price and conditions I will not be going back.
There also wasn’t a cart person driving around with drinks.
It’s summer get on your game.
Water the grass all early morning and as soon as the course closes.
Your making it worse with wet soaked grass and then it gets driven over.
Has so much potential but it’s just not for me at this point.

Yup. You are not the only person who has experienced that. Not only are they getting completely annihilated, they won't let you play through. This place used to be my home course but I would much rather drive the extra 25 minutes to another course starting with "Pine"...if you catch my drift.
