About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

Aerification shut down full 9
App said there was aerification, but I've never had a course with that shut down a full 9 holes and have you play the same 9 twice. Led to an extremely slow back 9
aeration/pace of play/course management
without notice they decided to close the front 9 to aerate the greens. they attempted to have all groups play the back 9 (twice after they were charged for 18 holes). course was backed up beyond belief. 4 foursomes on par 5’s. groups waiting on par 3’s. no course management. at all. pro shop was incapable of offering rain checks to come back and play when the course was fully opened. terrible experience from a course that should do better. Glad there are other options out there
Challenging
Challenging course. Very much needs maintenance. Traps, and greens. With some work this can be very nice.
Lovely early morning 18
No complaints, lovely course. Nice and quiet, great pace and awesome atmosphere! Will be back!
No Ranger?
Course was ok. Green was fast and too bad people dont fix their ball parks on the green.
After I paid, no ranger(starter) available so I went back to the office and the gentleman(Ray?) said to just go on.
Well, there was some backup and no ranger was there to guild the traffic.
Grass Conditions
Fairways and greens one of the worst I have played in awhile
The tee time did not include carts and the greens were a little rough
Good. Has potential.
Not a bad track. Has a few greens that were beat up but most were good. A little slow pace of play but nothing crazy. You will pay 15 extra for cart.
Buyer Beware
Went into Pro Shop to pay. Ray was pleasant and attentive. Older gentleman named MR Ed.was also there. Ed was the starter. Ed was rude and grouchy on first intro. Get to waiting area. Mr Ed the starter was there. He barked at us where to park cart. He was rude and didn’t answer any questions nicely. The older gentleman in Ranger cart pulled up to chat with Ed. He barked at a player for chipping a ball to high in the chipping area. The ball was about 5 ft in the air.
We teed off 11 minute late on a beautiful 76 degree morning. Ed doesn’t care about the tee times. Ranger was non existent and pace of play was very slow. Took over 5 hours to play a round. Cart girl drive around 5 times first 9 holes but never asked if we wanted anything. She waits for u to stop her. Back nine no ranger no cart girl and greens were beat up every other hole.
Not worth more than 45 dollar to play but they charge 77. Never again. Too many nicer courses on Long Island for faster and better courses
Good but could be better
The course was in decent shape but it took over 5 hours to play.. No rangers around at all.. Nice layout
