Beautiful day
This course is pretty but pretty much a perfect fit for those golfers wanting to work on their par 3’s.
Not my style at all but I’d ok if you are looking for an inexpensive day under the sun.
Cozy n confotable.

Solid Executive Course
I’ve played Kissena 4 times in the past year. It seems to be getting better with age. It’s a very hilly and somewhat challenging executive course (no par 5’s). Not a ton of water or sand traps, but the hills and wind make you think twice about which club to hit off the tee. The greens are in great shape and the roughs are thick as well.
For being a short course it’s great condition and I hope it holds for the remainder of summer.
Staff is super friendly and personable.
One of the slowest rounds of golf ever. Walked of the course after two holes
We teed off the first hole 30 minutes late. The first two holes took an hour. We then left. This place is a joke. Only good thing about it is the egg, bacon and cheese rolls.
Confidence Enhancing Course
Short at under 5000 yards and no par 5's, straight forward par 4's and a bunch of difficult par 3's coupled with 2 inch uncut rough so keep it on the fairway. For truly mediocre players (15 to 25 handicappers) who aren't bombers, it's challenging enough. For better players,Clearview, Forest Park, Van Cortlandt and, of course, the more difficult suburban courses. Affordable and accessible neighborhood course.

Teed off 45 minutes after my reservation time. Took three hours to play eight holes.
Executive course with large course feel
Although this is an executive small course by design it plays like a. Bigger course. It’s a great practice course. It gets u ready for those long (Par 73) courses with different slopes and hole placements.
Always in great shape
Kissena is a short par 64, 18 hole Course, with tough uphill and downhill lies, that can drive a player nuts. The greens are in good shape, the undulation will also drive you nuts. It plays fast because it doesn’t have anyPar 5’s. It’s a great venue to play, I enjoyed it and highly recommended.
