Well kept course, it was very playable even after all the rain we had.

Returned to AGC after my last trip in June when to my disappointment the greens had been spiked and sanded during our hot spell when everywhere else was rolling fast and true. Delighted to say that the greens have benefitted massively from that work. They are fast and receptive, and a fabulous surface to putt on. Just when other parkland courses, my own included, start winter cuts, spiking etc, AGC’s are perfect! Fairways firm and those beautifully manicured green entrances and fringes all just stunning. A credit to the green staff especially after the recent monsoons! Leaf blowing a ‘fairway’ on the short Par 3 12th sums up the care and maintenance on this fabulous golf course. Pace was slow with a couple of 4 balls infront but I didn’t mind since I wasn’t going anywhere if they’d let me through. Happy to just sit off them and enjoy the day. What I did mind was how the game in front left divots on tees, seeded sand is provided on par 3’s, and pitch marks not attended too on greens. Obviously members it’s a shame they don’t have the same care for their course than the excellent green staff. All round another superb day at this lovely golf course.

Great course, reminds me very much of Ladybank in Fife which is my favourite course. Very playable and got it for a great price.vfriendly welcome by the pro and enjoyed a crispy bacon roll before my round. Paired up with three other guys who were great company (still surprises me to read reviews where folk are angry at getting paired up with others, very unsociable people). A must play.

Loved this course, fantastic condition and fastest greens of the year. Very playable.

We waited 20 mins on a roll and sausage then told they don’t serve lattes which was disappointing

A party of gentlemen arrive after I had placed my order and were all served a cooked breakfast before our rolls arrived

I feel the bar staff were very rude and we waited some time to be served.

Food was enjoyable once it arrived but experience was disappointing.

Played here a few times and course is excellent for all levels. From social golfing to organised outings.

Greens had been tined last time I played around 5 weeks ago and still have signs of it now which is disappointing but overall the course is in great condition

The course was in great condition . The roll of the greens were one of the best I've played this year . Some great views. Over all highly recommended.

Excellent course, well looked after and some really nice holes.

I'm new to golf but didn't find it overly difficult.
