Blair Atholl Golf Club

We booked a 4 ball to play at Blair Atholl with the Golf Now app. We arrived at the venue on one of the hottest days of the year and immediately we were aware that this was a special place. The course looked in immaculate condition and this proved to be the case. We were warmly welcomed in the clubhouse and had a delicious toastie with salad before playing.

Prior to teeing off, we met one of the members who was playing the 9th and was looking for his ball on a nasty slope in front of the green. We offered our help to find his ball, however without success. He thanked us by giving us a booklet about the history of the golf club-what a generous gesture. Thank you kind sir.

The course is 9 holes, each hole has its own character and challenge. There is a lot of fun to be had and the best example was the par 3 4th. Every golf course should have a hole like this. The greenkeeper has done a brilliant job at Blair Atholl. The greenkeeping team were very respectful of us at all times during our round.

This visit to Blair Atholl was time well spent on a beautiful golf course in a stunning location. Thank you to everyone at the golf club and thank you for sharing your golf course.

Booked this online for a quick 9 holes with my lad. Turned up and the clubhouse had a note saying they were now closed on Mondays but if you had turned up and wanted to play you could still pay to play.

Nice elevated tee to boost confidence on the first hole and then a lovely set of 9 holes which was a good walk but buggies are available I think if you struggle to walk round. The 96 yard 4th is a definite hole in one chance and maybe the excitement from finishing about 8" away explains me then firing my following tee shot directly towards the River Tay.... ah golf.

Mid week round while on holiday, enjoyed greatly. Course was as very well maintained, greens run well and fairways in excellent condition. Love playing here, great views also of the local landscape. Favourite hole 4th, par 3 toward railway bridge

Great nine hole course with two sets of medal tees.

Quite short but a good test all the same . Clubhouse is quaint serving good food and beers

From the moment I arrived I was made to feel very welcome and the friendly staff and members supplied beautiful food and useful local knowledge on the course.

The course was interesting, challenging, we’ll laid out and a joy to play.

I really enjoyed my visit, plan to go again and would definitely recommend it!

Brilliant course and for February it was in great condition

This is the second time we have played Blair Atholl and it just keeps getting better. The fairways are lush, greens are beautiful.

The catering was just fantastic great portions and so tasty.

I will play here again every time I come up the A9.

Just turn off the A9 for Blair Athol and fibd the most delightful 9 hole course in sheltered surroundings and a clubhouse with excellent catering facilities. Not to be missed. We've played here 3 times as andcwhen travelling on the A9. Thiscis tranquility that is beyond description. Alan and Pamela.

Brilliant

Love this course. We play it as it’s just off the A9 near Pitlochry half way between Inverness and Edinburgh. Fairly flat and not too challenging. Nice fairways, Greens a tad slow but overall value for 18 holes.,Clubhouse looked nice but charging £2 for a 330ml can of Coke to take out didn’t endear us to stay for a drink after.

The staff in the clubhouse were very welcoming and helpful. The course itself was in excellent condition. Blair Atholl is a 9 hole layout with a couple of testing par 4s and one long par 3. The only par 5 is also tricky, playing a blind approach to an elevated green. Enjoyed 18 holes of golf in the sun with the added bonus of a clubhouse stop-off at the turn. Hope to have the opportunity playing there again someday.
