The Arndean at Muckhart Golf Club

About
The Arndean Course is the most scenic of Muckhart Golf Club's three courses with panoramic views to the south over the Forth Valley and to the Ochils in the north.
Muckhart Golf Club has 27 holes comprising three courses of 18 holes on a rotating basis. The Arndean nine measures 2,821 yards from the back tees. Par is 35.
Arndean's signature holes are No. 5 and 6. The fifth hole, aptly named "Top of the World," is a par 4, which has no bunkers but presents a stiff test into the prevailing wind. No. 6 is a beautiful long par-3 hole, named after "The Lonesome Pine," which guards the left of the green.

Beautiful course, I will be back
Amazing round, throughly enjoyed it
Refused to accept GolfNow price!!
I turned up 20 minutes early for a quick warm up, went to the pro shop to check in and was asked how much I had paid. I said I got a hot deal and paid £34.99 and was told they wouldn’t accept the booking at this price. The Pro came in “Wolfie” and clearly couldn’t be bothered as he was playing a round himself. He said he has no idea why Golf Now has given me that price as it’s too low and left. They also turned away a 3 ball for the same reason saying we’d all have to contact golf now for a refund and if we wanted to play we had to pay full price in the pro shop. I called Golf Now to check I could get the refund before booking to play at full price.
Golf Now were very helpful and refunded me instantly, they also told me the club choose what tee times are hot deals and set the price themselves. Golf Now just facilitated the booking in their app. When I went back in to the pro shop I hear the assistant saying they had been turning people away all week and having them pay full price. At this point I decided to walk away, it was only £20 extra but either the pro shop don’t get the fact their club signed up to golf now and set the price themselves or they are getting people to their course and then bumping the price up forcing them to pay more than advertised.
The Pro was no help, more interested in his tee off time, the young assistant didn’t know what was going on (not his fault, the senior staff member should have dealt with it). All in all a waste of an hours round trip on a Sunday!
Nice course
Played the Naemoor and Cowden courses, both in good condition all over and some nice holes. Clubhouse could do with a bit of modernising but overall a decent time
Full course despite being December, course was in good condition for the time of year.
Very good, worth the money
Course in good condition, well forth the money
Great views. Fairway and greens in very good condition.
Course was in very good condition considering recent rain. Very scenic all the way round. Greens ran true.
Great day out
Played all 27 holes, 9 in the morning, lunch then 18 in the afternoon. Played with my son and hired a buggy. Perfect weather and the course was in excellent condition. Starter lady was very accomodating allowing for a very relaxed day adjusting our tee off times to suit us. Tight off the tee on some holes but very forgiving on others giving a nice variation throughout the day. Also know that they try to keep big greens all year so can see a bit of winter golf here.
Great value
Tee time after 5pm so it was only £25
Great value for money, will defo be back
Good
Interesting layout ….Greens good…nice scenery……some 9 holers feel like 9 holers…..this felt like an 18 holer that happened to be a 9 holer….which I believe it is.
Great day
Played all 27 holes. Glad we had the buggie. Super condition and excellent layout. Challenging in bits. Staff very helpful. Stay out of the long rough. Brutal but good fairway width and good light rough for the slightly wayward shots.
Good wee 9
Good wee course
First green was not very good condition
But 9 holes with 2 par 5s and great views
Going back to play the other one soon
So overall for me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great wee course
Had a great wee round as we hadn't been out for months
Only 20 minutes from my door, good to get out and back into the swing of things
The fact theres3 9 hole courses makes it an interesting option for what you play
Rough can be quite unforgiving on some holes but you're fine if you don't go in it
Would definitely be back and recommended to everyone who wants a wee morning round if 9 holes is all you want
Will play 18 next time we're there
Decent course, some weeds on greens. Cndition average
Very friendly and welcoming staff, nice clubhouse and pro shop, carts to hire.
