Milnathort Golf Club is a traditional village golf course in scenic Perthshire, Scotland. The club formed in 1910 on grounds donated to the golf club to encourage sport.

Its an undulating inland, nine-hole parkland golf course with lush fairways and superb greens. Additional tees have been added at three of the holes to give the nine-hole course more variety. Because of these strategically placed trees, accurate tee shots are necessary. There are different trees and greens for each hole.

Though you need to be accurate off the tee at Milnathort Golf Club, the course is forgiving, and there's room for a wayward shot. There are no par 5s and no hole over 467 yards. The shortest hole is the 146-yard par 3 fourth, while the longest is the 440-yard par 4 seventh.

Junior golf is encouraged. The clubhouse features a dining area, bar and changing rooms and showers.

Hidden Gem

Hidden Gem it is. Condition of course after the long dry summer was a credit to the greenkeeper. Who has been there for 35 years I think I was told. The welcome I got in their nice club house was very informative and friendly.

Give it a go folks you’ll not be disappointed.

Hidden Gem

What a fun course! 9 holes of Parkland golf, but you can play 18 holes with some different tees and one hole even has two different greens for the front and back nine. Course is in very good condition and has a fun layout. I’m visiting Scotland and so far this was my first non links course, but still enjoyed it. Plenty of challenge with length on some par 4s and a par 3 that plays over 200 yards. Staff was very nice and even let me use the shower in the men’s locker room after my round.

Big thanks for the welcome

I visited the course for a day out golfing with my brother-in-laws. Reason for the choice was that my father lived in Kinross at one time and had some success in local golf competitions in the late 1950s and 1960s so we wanted to connect with those experiences. We were warmly welcomed, helped get parking and enjoyed bacon rolls, scones and coffees. There was a weekday medal being played so it was great to see so many people out playing. The course was in great conditions and the location with views of Loch Leven and the surrounding hills. Big thanks again to the staff and members.

Proper value for money!

Great 9 hole golf course with several of the holes having different tees or greens on the 2nd 9 holes. Very good condition. Friendly clubhouse staff serving good food and drinks. Overall exceptional value for money golf. Would highly recommend playing a round at Milnathort.

Winter Set Up

Everywhere in Edinburgh area was frozen and unplayable. Found this wee gem just north of Kinross.

Winter greens and mats on the fairway. Just glad to be getting out for a round. Staff were warm and friendly.

Lovely course

Milnathort is a well kept, narrow course with some amazing views. They do a good job of mixing up tee shots and greens to make the back 9 feel like new holes.
