Wonderful Course that is delightful to play
This little gem of a course is someone’s best kept secret! This s a municipal course that will challenge your tee shots and reward your efforts with manicured greens. The course was in fantastic condition, with well managed rough for everyone. Greens are fast but fair. Sand traps are the only negative, as they are rock hard. Pace of play was outstanding as our 3 some was able to play 18 in 3 hours and 45 minutes.
Staff was fantastic, helpful and very friendly, as were the course ranger and beverage cart personnel.
We look forward to playing this course again next year. Definitely a 5 star experience!
Beautiful and Challenging Course
Really enjoyed my round at St. Germaine. Can’t wait to play again. We played without waiting and without people behind us. Each hole is its own sanctuary— enough space and woods so you rarely even see others playing another hole. Fairways provide plenty of space for any reasonable shot. Woods are close enough that going astray will usually cost you a stroke. Greens and fairways are gorgeous and well maintained. Greens are large with undulations making them challenging but very fair. Can walk or ride this course.Highly recommended!!
Beautiful Course
If you ever get a chance play this course. It is simply beautiful. The grounds are beautiful. There’s rolling hills, there’s trees, everything is absolutely perfect. The pace was slow due to the number of people on the course but boy what a great course.

Greens keep it from being a 5 but I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Great experience
The course was in excellent condition, greens were moderately fast and well cut/maintained. The course was scenic, with a few holes being challenging due to narrow fairways, great contours and pin placements. Will make this a more frequent stop now we know it's a great course!
Great Northwoods Course
Course is beautiful and well maintained. Greens rolled pretty true. It’s not super long but with almost every tee box tree lined, getting off the tee accurately is a must.
Great course in the north woods
Second time playing St Germain golf course. The staff in the pro shop and on the course were very welcoming and friendly. The course was in excellent shape - greens rolled true and held shots coming in. A fun course to play!
Let's Play 9
The course was a bit expensive ($114 for 2 people for 9 holes with a cart), but the course was in great shape and it was a beautiful day. The clubhouse/restaurant is fantastic. I'll definitely be going there again.
