Fountain Hills Golf Club

The pace of play was terrible. Couldn’t get our round of golf in under 3 hours and had to skip 9 because it took so long.

Awesome 9 hole golf course and challenging, golf course was in great condition as always.

The course itself has potential. I played with a friend and the starter told us we had to put our water bottles in our automotive. That didn't make sense to is since there was no beverage cart on the course. Also, even though it wasn't crowded, they paired two-somes to make foursomes...... And that made the round 2:45 . Over all there are better bargains in the area, I will only play here when I don't have time for a full round and the deal is $10 or lesd

I haven't played this course in about 10 years and I was very impressed with the condition and price.

Great 9 hole course. Pace of play might be slow due to it being a small course but well kept. Overall good experience.

Course was backed up on a weekday. Other golfers said that weekends are very slow play.

Fairly nice layout that has some challenging holes.

Pace of play was very poor. Sand is in terrible condition, fairways are long and rough is even longer. Lost 2 balls on fairway somehow. So fun holes if conditions were much better.

Haven't played here in years completely blown away by the condition of this course.i had a blast playing here it's not to often you find actual sand in bunkers on municipal courses 3 sand saves in first 3 holes made my day.

1st time playing Fnt Hills n I'll be back many more times til.I birdie every hole.BJ n John showed great patience showing me the layout n kept eyes on my ball as playing partners. The starter let us play ahead as the group wasn't ready, she was oh so kind.

Excellent golf course. 1st time I saw a beer cart girl driving around. She was on point too. A+.

the course was in great shape staff courteous challenging nine you get a little groom feel if your off the fairway uphill downhill lies great course for the money I would definitely reccommend

Fountain hills is reasonably priced, somewhat challenging and usually well maintained. My only complaint is that you can get some slow play. The day I played me and a friend had no one in front of us so it played like a country club. Several of the holes are a bit narrow with virtually nowhere to miss the fairway . Holes 2 and 3 make it easy to go OB left. Number 7 is a 145 yd par 3 but anything left of the center of the fairway will run towards the pond on the left (OB right here is out on the street) . Hole nine is a tough par 4 and longer hitters can reach the pond at the end of the fairway from the tee. The course is generally pleasing to the eye and worth giving a try. It's a walkable course as well although I almost always take a cart.

First time playing and its love at first, swing/ site. Great layout, not closed in alot of room, greens in good condition. Nice course to look /view friendly on the eyes,lol. I'll be back, as a matter of fact this will be my new go to 9 hole course!
