Good bang for your buck
Occasionally I squeeze 9 in after work here. $10 to walk after 5- can’t beat that price these days. Only problem is that low price draws in people who don’t respect the game. Greens look like a hail storm just passed through. Fix your divots people! If the greenskeeper went out and fixed em’ every morning this place would be top tier. But you get what you pay for.
The tee boxes need to be cleaned. They were a lot of old broken tees in them
This course provide a challenge for all levels of golfers
I will recommend this course to many of my friends.
What you hope for in a local course.
So glad Fountain is my home course. It’s exactly what I hoped for when I moved to the area. Good folks working!
Great 9 hole
For the money and they layout this is pound for pound a top 9 hole course. It’s picturesque of a few holes with the fountain in the middle. Love playing here when I only have time for 9. Holes #3 and 6 are more favorites. 3 is a tough tee off and then the approach is downhill. #6 has a great dogleg turn that you have to manage on the approach.
Gem
One of the best maintained 9 holes I’ve played in Chicago at a very fair price. Tees, fairways, and greens are in perfect condition. Also a really nice grass driving range. I will be back.
