Nice Get Away
Great proximity to the City. Serene vibes just don't look south the eye sores of Gas Plants and pollution factories make it a rude awakening as to what's happening ING to our green spaces. Lucky they were able to forge this beautiful course in the midst of a dreary backdrop.
Spectacular as always just cold.
Been here couple times now as a beginner love the course. In great conditions friendly staff. Challenging course but fun. Sand bunkers still in great condition in mid November
Wind
Playing a round with 30-40 mph winds all day but 82 degrees was a day we will talk about for years. Course was in awesome shape as usual.
Great value for a variety of reasons.
Super friendly staff. Course conditions above average. Priced well. GPS in cart top notch. Beverage food shed convenience at two different points in your round. Overall better than most courses in Chicago suburbs who are consistently over charging, over booking, and adding zero amenities to the experience.
Hidden gem
This course is a hidden gem. It is located in the middle of an industrial area in Hammond and would have never guessed a golf course is located there. The course was in pristine condition especially considering the dry weather we have had. Fairways were in awesome shape. Beautiful layout. I had an awesome time here and will definitely be going back.
Tricky Layout - Good Condition
Challenging course with lots of water on the first few holes and then it turned into a wooded course. Pace of play was pretty brutal and there were no rangers or bev carts. I was a solo and they paired me up in the same car with another player claiming that they were too busy to give me my own cart even though we played from different tees and he was a complete stranger.
Great course
This is a great course not too far from Chicago. The first 4 holes are surrounded by water and OB, so hit it straight or bring lots of balls. The rough, especially on the back 9, is a penal as you'll fold - 6 feet off the fairway and you need to be on top of your ball to find it in many spots (right on 18 is particularly thick, even around the green). Play from the tee boxes right for your skill level and it's a fun course.
Course is fantastic condition and is awesome.. highly recommend to anyone debating whether to play this course! Greens are fast with some tough holes
Course is fantastic condition and truly has some awesome views.. highly recommend to anyone debating whether or not to play this course! Greens are fast and roll nicely. Also there are some tough holes out there and not a lot of room for error off the tee or into the greens!
