Rude pro shop
I am new to golf, so this was my first time golfing at Lost Marsh. Beautiful course and very nice clubhouse. Wish I could say the same to the dude with the sideburns running the pro shop. I didn’t know there was a dress code and didn’t realize you would be treated like a second class citizen for not having a collard shirt. I work at the refinery down the street everyday and want to add to the economy of the area. He treated us with disgust and made us feel so stupid and like scum bags for not knowing we needed a collard shirt. He let us golf only bc I had already paid online. I will return to support this golf course and the clubhouse but someone needs to teach old sideburns how to speak to people and be respectful instead of making you feel shamed and like you don’t belong. A simple “Hey guys, we have a dress code so please remember for next time or we can’t let you golf” would have been just fine.
Gem!
I enjoyed my round at Lost Marsh!! For anyone in Illinois looking for a great course that isn't in their normal routine; I'd highly recommend this place.
Great Track!
I enjoyed my time at this course! The staff was extremely friendly and most importantly the course was impeccable.
Amazing course
This course was beautiful with a great layout . The conditions were perfect as well.
Lost Marsh, a gem in NW Indiana
Great course if you like water, the holes are far with areas to play smart. Occasionally see deer out on the course.
Great experience
Really fun layout. Starts out on the marsh with several island holes. Then into some tight woods. Back out to some links. A little bit of everything. Bring your friends. Bring a lot of golf balls. Club down often
Perfect match
I love this course. It a course that meets all of the characteristics of a very high-end golf course.
Lost Marsh 5/2/24
I have always enjoyed this track and yesterday it was better than ever. Played from green tees (5900 yards) and was all the challenge I can handle particularly in the windy conditions. Three of us were able to get around in just over three hours. The course was in great condition and greens were flawless. The greens keeper here is a wizard! Can be a busy place so I highly suggest you bring your friends. The ones that can play golf. And for senior golfers, it’s an incredible value.
Great Conditions - Very Deep Rough
Rough is really deep, bal-buried-hard-to-find deep! Conditions otherwise are definitely fantastic for this time of year.
Heads up they are really strict about bringing alcohol on their course. They go as far as marking their own cans.
