Pace of play
Definitely need a course ranger pace of play is horrific
Good, could be great
This is a good course, but it could be great with some touching up. Greens are excellent and roll great. Bunkers have good sand in them. Fairways are in good shape. But tee boxes are like sandy mounds rather than flat and square, and many bunkers are rough around the edges. Could use at least one ball washer on the course! No drinking water available at all. So while it’s a nice course to play with several challenges and a nice clubhouse, some improvements could be made to bring it to greatness.
Where are the Rangers?
NO Ranger and the foursome in front of us 2 walkers two riders would all go to each persons ball when they were hitting. 4 hours to play 12 holes before darkness set in. Again where are the Rangers?
Great course, fix the tee boxes
It is a great course and good value. The majority of the course is in great condition. The only draw back are the tee boxes. There is not one level piece of turf to
put your tee in and swing away. You have to stand in the rough and put the tee in along the edge to
have a level stance. Since the rest of the course is so well taken care of, it is a shame to have the tee boxes in the condition they are in.
Pace of play
Had 12:45 tee time… left after only playing 14 holes @ 5:45 due to slow pace of play…unfortunate because I enjoy the course …second time this happened on this course
Fix the tee boxes!!!
Not a level tee box at this place. They have done a lot of work to keep the greens but starting a hole on beat up not level tee boxes! Come on.
Challenging day at Stonebridge
If you are not a long driver there are a few holes that are difficult because there is water in the way, Course management is the key. Putting greens were fun to manipulate. Fun day!
Great Course and a Great Value.
Stonebridge is one my favorite courses on LI. Greens are in great shape as are the fairways. However, some of the tee boxes are in need of repair. Also, the 8 th hole has a continuing drainage problem which has existed for years and nothing has been done to resolve the problem.
The pace of play was good. The restroom facilities in the clubhouse are excellent, but there are none on the couse.
