Golf Club of Houston - Member Course

The course was an unbelievable shape. Fairways roll forever. The greens were super fast. 10 placement was like on a championship Sunday. We played from the blues. It was very challenging. If I had any negative it would be they need to hire one more Cart person. We teed off at 12:50. It was extremely hot. On some courses that I have played before they would have a Marshall come around with wet Florida water towels. Other than that, the staff was extremely nice. It was great to see you in the locker room. Some of the names that have played out there. I can say I played it, but it was a little high on price. A very nice.

Even though it was cart-path-only due to the weather conditions, it should not have taken an entire hour to play only four holes. While the cart indicated we were only seven minutes behind pace, the slow pace significantly disrupted our rhythm and enjoyment of the round.

The course was prime. Tournament quality and greens were pure. Level of quality and amenities are worth the green fees.

Booked a Tee time at 2:30 pulled up at 1:15 and they had a tournament of 72 players playing at 1:30! Pace of play was horrendous, staff was awful. Their “pro player/manager” doesn’t know what she’s doing either. First time going there and will never go back. Don’t waste your money, moody gardens is nicer that this course.

Course was in great shape, Green were perfect and traps were in good shape. Well worth the money.

Course is always nice, at a minimum.

Course was great! It destroyed me in the best way. Very gettable holes and very challenging holes. For it being wet it was in great shape!

The course needs Marshall’s to ensure pace of play and care of the course. Apparently raking traps and fixing divots is old school. So is pace of play; it should not take 5.5 hours.

Playing GCH used to be a treat. Free range bakks, collard shirts, pace of play. Now it’s just like any other course.

PGA and LIV have both held tournaments here. Nice course, back nine is tough into the wind.

Home of the Houston Cougars men's and women's golf teams. The practice facilities were quite nice, the Tournament Course was fun and the staff was very helpful. The greens are well protected by nice, white sand. I found the bunkers well maintained and very playable - I had to hit out of a lit if them... I definitely recommend the Golf Club of Houston
