Grey Hawk Golf Club

About
Grey Hawk Golf Club is a challenging but playable course that is a Cleveland area favorite. It brings resort-quality golf to a remote location in LaGrange that is seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The rolling landscape is the ideal terrain for links-style golf. The course demands accuracy with lightning fast greens surrounded by bunkers and be sure not to stray from the fairways or you'll almost definitely be left with an uneven lie. Unlike a typical links golf course, there are water hazards coming into play on several holes on this layout. The 11th hole features a tricky island green while the third hole has an equally challenging "island green" that is surrounded by sand. Grey Hawk Golf Club is a formidable but fair test with interesting and diverse hole designs.

Love it!!
This is my favorite course I love to play wish I could get out there more often!
Beautiful But Challenging
This course is absolutely beautiful but it will definitely test the average golfer. The par 3s are some of the most challenging in the area and overall, the course will penalize you heavily for errant shots. Be prepared to lose a handful of balls if you’re not a low handicap player. With that said, it’s a course I certainly plan on playing again, and likely again and again. The island green par 3 is practically worth the visit on its own.
Pleasant day with a chance of rain
Course was in great shape. Fairways and greens were excellent. Looking forward to playing again.
A tough one.
A beautiful place. Well maintained, but my goodness for a golfer who hits his best drives just over 200yds it was a real challenge. Still would golf there again though.
Challenging course
If you don’t hit the ball into the fairway, then you more than likely will have a lie that is on a hill or between hills. This course was pretty challenging and play was slow for most of the 18 holes.
Great spring golf
Aside from the poor weather conditions that day. The course was in very good condition.
Great Condition
Course is already in great condition this early in the season. Fast greens, challenging layout, good quality of sand in the bunkers (not dirt), and freshly cut grass. The driving range won't open until sometime next week, that was the only bummer. It would have been nice to warm up before playing a tough course like this. Overall, it's still one on the best maintained courses around especially when you can catch a great deal on Golfnow.
Excellent course
I played an afternoon round. The pace of play was terrible. Be prepared to play a 4.5-5.5 hour round on a busy day(18 holes).
In my opinion, they need a ranger out there enforcing pace of play.
Love the course it was just super slow.
Staff needs work
Played yesterday in the wind and rain was blowing sideways for the first 3 holes. I showed up to receive my slip and keys from the pro shop and the kid would not give me a cart. He told me to find another guy(who I didn’t know) and ride with him. This person he asked me to ride with was a good 10 minute walk over to the first tee which is situated over a road and I have bad knees which I told the staff. I asked for a refund said he couldn’t get it for me and never provided a solution. So I got my shoes and wet weather clothes on and some young kid from the cart barn gave me a ride over to the first tee. They said couldn’t give me cart due to t sheet when I finished the 18 the cart barn was half full totally unprofessional and rude. Luckily played with two great guys and even they said they would have been mad if treated that way.
