About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Getting Bad
I used to love this place. The drunk frat bros have found this course. No Marshall or starter so it's just a free-for-all out there. Had to watch the cart girl sit there and chat with a younger group that couldn't even stand up. Then they had her get out and hit a tee shot before hammering their 15th fireball of the round. Bout a 5 hour day out there. The greens have some sort of a fungus on them also. Kinda trash right now
Take the deal
Thankful it was a HotDeal, drove an hr and was slightly disappointed. I was right after a high school tournament just finished, yet still think the course could’ve been a little better kept for the original price.
Exceeded expectations
I played an afternoon Sunday round with a hotdeal. I expected it to be pretty good, but the course was excellent! Very challenging layout, so be sure to choose the right sets of tees. It was challenging but if you put your ball in play the course was fair. The wind gives it a little boost of difficulty, and the greens were firm and fast. I will be back.
Round after heavy rain
Played the course a few hours after.some heavy rain came through. Cart path only meant for a bit of a walk and some standing water on course but at least the rain didn’t close the course
Lots of Construction
New house construction everywhere so a lot of the beautiful trees have been removed. Greens are ok, this place is windy on most days.
Greens & tee boxes starting to green up
I enjoy playing The Bridges- challenging layout- and dormant grass now showing signs of greening up. I normally play during the week and appreciate that I can play as single when there are openings in tee times.
Greens
Wow, very fast greens and every one of them has a challenging hump. Front nine was slow with no marshal but the foursome in front of us bailed at the turn.
Great Day For Golf
My friends and I play this course about 9 to 10 times a year. It's a fun challenge with hole 6 and 18 being my favorites. 6 doesn't look too difficult until you get to the green. 18 good luck.
