The Bridges Golf Club

I thought the course was in excellent condition. I almost didn't recognize the course (it's been some months since I played there) with all the off-course rough cut down. The fairways were in better shape than I've seen them in a good while (Hats off to the maintenance crews.) and the greens were in really good condition. I didn't play so well but I enjoyed the round anyway. I"m sure I will be back soon!

Very good course, hard layout for me as a beginner.

Price is good for the area, you won’t find many courses less than $100 north dfw so this is fair I think.

My son and I love playing at The Bridges course in Gunter. The course is in really good shape considering the long, hot summer. The greens roll true. We love the course layout. You have to be strategic to score well. You can't just blast a driver on all par 4s. You have to "miss" on the correct side of the green or pin or you'll struggle to save par, which is how it should be. The course rewards good shots and good game-planning. We'll be back routinely.

If you’re in the area it’s a solid place to play with some interesting holes and greens. Staff was nice and the course was in good shape considering how dry it’s been. Some greens are very tough but they are in good condition. Definitely need to be able to read the greens to avoid the dreaded 3-4 putt holes. I’ll be back.

Had a great day at the Bridges, the pace of play was good according to the cart GPS. We finished six minutes behind. I enjoyed the layout generous fairways, and receivable greens. Putting surface was great they rolled out nicely and consistently throughout the course. The staff was very welcoming answering all questions for my first time at the course. I would highly recommend the Bridges for a good challenging round of golf at a fair price.

What is the reason there is no water in the ball washers and no 9 hole rate? Really enjoy playing this course because the layout suits my game and never seems to be crowded and allows me to book same day tee times plus the view is great. Greens are tough...

Played this course for the first time, I wasn’t entirely disappointed however there was a high school tournament, which I was unaware of which severely slowed down play for the first hour until they finished. The course is challenging, a few quirky holes, especially number 18! Probably the worst designed finishing hole I’ve ever played. The greens were good, so all in all I might play it again now that I know the course, but certainly would look for other courses first.

Pace of play was great (3.25 hrs). Fairways were dry from the weather and greens were fairly sandy.

We used to play this course quite a lot when I was younger. This time around it was pretty rough… tee boxes were really really hard. Fairways were spotty, greens were just ok.

For $110… we were extremely disappointed!

Either lower your prices or raise the quality.

Due to TX heat, I’ve been getting 7-7:30am tee times and just playing 9 holes. I REALLY appreciate it when they let me go off back 9 and have it to myself! I play in just over an hour. And I don’t mind working around mowers & maintenance crew work going on before the bigger groups hit back 9- I THANK the Bridges for being flexible!

Course layout was fairly easy, greens weren’t as expected as seen in photos, very slow and bumpy. Pace of play was very slow.

Wonderful hospitality value priced and a competitive layout.
