About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

They need some rain
Course was in decent shape, but they could use some rain. Lots of dead spots in the fairways and the tee boxes were brown and some grassless. A few 350 yard drives due to bounces. Greens were good and very fast. If you got off the fairways, you were lucky to find grass. LOve the layout here, very challenging from 6900 yards. Pandemic golf continues - 4.5 hour round at 2pm on a Thursday. No cart girl..... a course that busy should have one.
Wide open links course
Good course with 5 sets of tee depending how much pain you want. Blues are a nice 6500 good length. Course is in good shape except the tee boxes. The hard freeze took its toll and they are not good.
No cart for beverages. Pace of play was great for a 850am tee time. Overall we had fun.

Windy but course is in good shape
We had a beautiful but really windy round today. Greens are in GREAT shape considering the recent week-long unprecedented freeze. They are completely renovating the bunkers and they are looking very good. Very enjoyable layout with some interesting holes. Will definitely keep this course in the rotation as it's very drivable from the Dallas area.

Awesome
Such an easy hike out here from Frisco...and well worth it. It’s serenely quiet and scenic, with a fun and forgiving layout. Greens were great. Only complaint is the fairways; they are like concrete, but that’s to be expected this time of year in Texas. Nice clubhouse with good food. Overall a great experience; I’ll be back.

Great Course
I played the Gold Tees which makes a couple of the par 4's tough to reach in regulation. My long irons and fairway woods were used frequently. Any miss hit drives can be fairly easily found on the course as the rough is very low in most places.

Can’t wait for Spring
I really like The Bridges, I play it a Lot- but right now it is in pure winter dormant stage. Almost no green grass on it. But I know it’s coming- I see them working on reconstructing all the bunkers, mowing the rough, and with some warm weather and Spring rain- the course will be back to good condition.
