About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Gem of a course
This course is definitely a gem in the area. It is a super fun layout and conditions are really solid. They are still working on getting some bare spots back from the winter storm, but they are ahead of most courses. Greens are really solid and rolling smooth. I’d definitely recommend playing here whenever you can.

Enjoyed playing the course.
Overall the course in good shape. I liked the greens. There are few holes with fairways damaged from the last winter storm, and I hope those are recovered soon.

Green was was good condition but the fairway was in poor condition and some of holes was cart path only

Hidden Gem
I play this course regularly and it's a always a fun challenge. The greens are creatively contoured requiring concentration and touch. The course can play long when going into the prevailing south wind, particularly on the par fours.

Course conditioning
Bare/bald areas in the fairway. Did not affect the round. Staff acknowledged it and course is clearly being repaired as quickly as possible. Love the course always a good playing here.

The Bridges
The course is in pretty good shape with some of the fairways being cart path only due to trying to bring them back due to some dead spots. However the greens are beautiful. I had a tough time on the course because of my being a short knocker but I will be playing it again.

The course seemed to be worse than when we played last month. I think it's still a great course, a bit pricey for the condition right now, but kudos for having complimentary range balls!

Good course, iffy conditions
This is a great course but the frost from the spring has gotten to a lot of the fairways and tee boxes which is not end of world. Back 9 had standing water in some fairways when we haven’t really had much rain in last few days and most greens had fire ant problem with it really nasty on some. Overall a great course I’ve played many times but not in best shape right now

Course conditions
The course is in terrible condition. I have played there since its original opening and today I was extremely disappointed and cannot believe they are charging a full rate for the conditions of the course. Vast majority of the holes are marked cart path only and all areas are under distress.
We are CPO because we are laying pallets of sod everywhere. It is cart path only to make sure the sod does not die. Please come back soon for the 5-star experience you expect at The Bridges Golf Club.

Wide open
June 22 we had a leisurely 18. The greens are in great condition. Spots in the fairway are healing up so a few hole remain cart path only. The Bridges is a challenging 18 from the blue tees and there are plenty of seniors here so expect them to go slow. Bunkers play good. No cart service so BYOB.
Hi Kevin, thanks for the kind words on the green conditions and the nice leisurely experience you had. The pace of play that day was within four and half hours which falls under the acceptable category. Unfortunately, with only two players we were pretty booked so you were unable to fly around the golf course any quicker. BYOB is not permitted in accordance with TABC laws. The club offers a full bar and restaurant plus water coolers on the course. Thanks for supporting us while we work to recover the course from the winter weather. Come see us soon!
