About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Always have a great time at this course. The gentleman in the pro shop is never friendly but luckily I only have to deal with him for a minute.

The Bridges at Preston Crossing
Want to get away without getting away? Go to Gunter and play this course! Generous fairways, challenging greens that roll like billiard tables with slope. Enough sand and water to keep your driver honest. Driveable par 4 on the front and perhaps the best closing hole in DFW with water in play on each shot. A few houses border the course but none should come into play. Nice clubhouse and friendly staff. Choctaw Casino is 35 minutes north so if you don't win $ on the course....perhaps your luck will be better on the slots.

Playing at The Bridges is always a nice golf experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Course is kept in good condition for a good game. Pace of play is always moving forward. I’ll be back!

Never disappointed with this track
Always a challenging but fun round here. Great layout. Greens rolled very well. Friendly staff. Some bunker work needed and I still think the 18th hole doesn't fit the rest of the course. Just my opinion though. Go check it out for yourself. I bet you won't be disappointed either.

Pace of play
It would have been helpful if the marshal had been more diligent about getting slower players to pick up the pace. Too much time spent waiting on tee boxes waiting on slow grips ahead of us.

Great Links Style Course
Over the last 6 years, I have played this course 35-40 times. It's challenging, well maintained, and in general a great track. The staff, especially the Pro there, Josh Haynes, have always been very accommodating and professional. I've recommended this course to many of my friends.
Excellent Day
The course was in great shape and the greens were awesome!!. The Bridges have the best greens in Dallas-FW. They roll true and they are fast. This is a great place to play it is a drive out to Gunter but well worth the time.
They have 5 tees and you can make the course as hard or as easy as you want. The back tees play to 7600!!

Links Style in North Texas
i was eager to replay The Bridges again, it had been a long time, free range balls, and easy pace to play made the day relaxing. Hitting fairways 15 mph wind was a tough. Forgiving rolls helped, But the Greens are the reason to go out NOW! perfect greens.

Great course!
Great course with challenging greens! Overall great condition. The only issue we came across was that our cart ran out of battery but it was on 18 so it wasn’t a huge deal. However, the group ahead of us had their cart run out on 14 and we saw another cart being towed back so it seems to be an issue. That being said I will definitely be back in the future!

Good round
A wide open course with some challenging greens. Very relaxed and uncrowded. A great break from city golf crowds. Worth the drive.
