Paradise Golf Course

My wife and I love Paradise Golf Course whenever we’re visiting in the area.The staff is friendly and professional as well.We enjoy the course and the 12 hole layout,which is perfect amount for the wife,,18 holes tends to be too much for her sometimes.The course conditions are always up to par,greens roll nice,and it’s to to see a some of the small wildlife,,turtles,different types of cranes n birds.After our round of golf we usually enjoy a drink at the outside bar which has a nice atmosphere,and they have some delicious food items on their menu to enjoy as well.

We like Paradise and go there frequently because the rates are reasonable and the people that work there are extremely nice. Problem this time was the pace of play. The players seemed to be moving in slow motion. They did not care about other people waiting and continuously stopped to chit-chat. Maybe someone should tell people that "pace of play" is something that all golfers observe and it makes the game pleasant for all.

We had to wait for 3 groups coming off 12 tee Then as we were getting ready to tee off,the starter informs us that we had to wait because THE OWNER was going to tee off. What a joke

Everyone was bunched up at the same we played three holes skipped over to 10 had no trouble after that

Drove over an hour to get to this course because my husband really wanted to play it. The only positive thing I have to say is the greens were in good shape. The pace of play was horrible!Took over 21/2 hours to play 9 holes. Fairways were pretty good.

The course is in good condition for this time of the year. It has enough distance and hazards to test all golfer levels.

Been to some other courses for the last month and was surprised by how green everything was. There has not been much rain lately and the fairways had grass and greens were in great shape. I will be back.

I’ve only played this course between the months of May -September! This course is 12 holes so holes 1-6 you play twice to get the full 18. Out tee time was 238 we arrived at 2 hit some warm up balls and the starter grabbed us for our tee time early. Due to the lay out the course was extremely backed up. We had two foursomes in front of us older snowbird couples. Men playing from whites and women playing from reds. They let the greens clear on every hole before they even exited the cart to walk up to the tee box. It’s been 3 hours and we are only on hole 11 with the two groups in front of us. Will not be returning until the birds flock back north

Met a friend from St Pete at this course because it was equidistant between me and him and was reasonably priced for this time of year.

Greens - very good

Tees - good

Fairways - good for the most part

Rough, if you just miss the fairway, is pretty bad. Just weeds and dirt.

Layout through mostly nature is nice rather than looking at houses all day.

Overall a fun day.
