Poorly ran establishment
First time there. Was told the whole course was cart path only. There was many holes that were dry as could be and driveable with a cart.
Pro shop only accepts credit cards. No cash. So that’s kind of weird.
Course was poorly maintained. Dead branches everywhere. Landscaping overgrown. Bare patches everywhere. Not the kind of course I was expecting. Also should have been told greens were just aerated.
People online say it’s a great course this and that the layout the structure is good but the fairways the rough the greens the place is in bad shape I need somebody to put some money into it it has potential no sand in the sand traps very disappointing and I followed the online reviews that’s why I’m upset would not of went there otherwise
While the course was a little wet and carts had to stay on cart path, course played well. Good layout and consistent play. Price was hard to turn down. Will be playing there more in the future.
Enjoyable layout and very walkable if you’d rather. It’s been raining a lot lately so the course was soaked. Cart paths only so I walked. Typical summer conditions I guess. I’ve played the course in the winter months and found conditions very good, but that much rain is hard to drain. The price was right so still worth it.
I enjoy playing there...the staff is top notch and the course is well kept I highl recommend this establishment!
Fair price, poor tee time management
Played as a 2-some first group out. Flew through front 9 only to pull up to an older, slow-playing 4-some on hole 11 that should not have been sent on the back. Did let us play through and sat waiting on holes 11-18 the rest of the round. We even played extra shots and putts to kill time and still waited each hole. Fairways were mostly filled in, greens were good for being 2 weeks post-aeration, and rough was not well taken care of. Friendly staff, maybe too friendly not watching ransoms going to the back 9 slowing up play
Was very disappointed with this round. Haven’t been to Twin Isles in a couple months and man have they let the course go. First we weren’t told they had aerated the greens so overpriced there for starters. Then the fairways are in bad shape and burned out in a lot of places. The greens have weeds growing on them. Used to be a decent course not anymore. Won’t play there until someone tells me they fixed it back up. Too bad.
Course conditions were rough now that snowbirds went home
Played this course a month ago and it was fabulous and in great shape. Now that snowbirds have gone home the course is a bit rough. Fairways were dry and bald, like concrete. Greens were very green but very shaggy so putting was bumpy and could not get a read on the green. Lots of water, traps, and doglegs. I'll wait to go back when conditions improve after we get some rain in Florida.
Brown fairways, Nice greens
The greens were awesome, but the fairways were crusty brown. The employee running the pro shop lacked any kind of enthusiasm. All he could say was “yep” when I asked questions. I was new to the course. Not a smile, a friendly greeting, or thank you came from him. The cart staff person was phenomenal! Very friendly and energetic!
Friendly, challenging and fun
A nice course with friendly staff. Challenging layout. We played during a very dry spell of weather . Tees and greens good. Fairways were very dry and provided good roll. Had a nice time.
