Got paired up with a nice couple which made the round enjoyable
Fairways and tee boxes a little rough

Friday golf
Deep Creek for the first time was a challenge. Tight fairways with a good amount of water. We made it through 18 still happy as we had fun and it was a beautiful day.

The weather was perfect and the course was good. Pace was a little slow but was expected for a Sunday afternoon.

Fair conditions considering ongoing drought
Severe drought over last several months left this course quite dried out. Many bare spots on tee boxes and throughout fairways and rough. Greens surprisingly in great shape though, rolling true and decently fast. Friendly staff and very good restaurant/pub on site. I’d like to come back when the course is in better condition after drought.

Challenging course. Lots of water. But still playable. Excellent value for the price in an area where golf prices are out of control.

A great day of golf
Me and my wife were paired with another couple who were originally from our home town. They were a joy to play with and we really enjoyed playing together. Small world was our thoughts as we knew mutual friends and they made our day. We will be back.

Nice course. Layout was reasonable. A few holes were very short. Iweatger has been very dry so Deep Creek was very shallow. Course must be very nice when not in a drought. Course backed up several times but we are fast players.
I would play again and price was reasonable.
