Transformed
Have not played this course in two years because it was like a cow pasture. We were amazed at the transformation. Fairways had grass and the greens were in good shape. Staff and cart manager were very friendly seeming to really like their job. Would recommend, especially to the average golfer...fair distances and not alot of water.
Golf at Paradise
Spring Training Trip with stay in Punta Gorda, short drive to this course. Great Golf Value!
Looking outside our area ...
We came across this course on Golf Now, and we picked a good day to play it. 12 holes, with option to play more. So we had lunch in their outside patio, then played 12 again on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The fairways were quite decent, and recently mowed. The bunkers had good sand the few times I found one. The greens were OK, albeit a little on the long side slowing the ball more than you'd plan for. Overall, a good value compared to others with the high prices on season.
Great Course
Great Place Great Outdoor Lounge with music after golf. Had a fine time.
“Country” Gem
Enjoyed the 12 holes + 6 (repeat) = 18 hole game in a semi-rural setting. Undulating fairways, water + sand traps made the game interesting & challenging for my (our) level. Friendly, personable staff. Starter (also friendly & personable) intervened when necessary to speed up the pace of play (ahead of us) which we appreciated. We were able to play by ourselves during a busy time. Appreciated that, also. Grabbed something to eat after 12 & the food was good. Pretty setting with trees & wildlife. Staff person (sorry I didn’t get his name) pointed out baby cranes born the day before. Great value.
Fun
Course is in good condition friendly staff and good value for the cost
Great day at Paradise wonderful starter Frank nice course for casual golf we really enjoyed our round
Review
All good except pace of play
2 some ahead of me no clue on golf rules
Finally got through
Next group moved like molasses up hill
Need ranger’s to speak to people
Good Course
Play to slow as booking times to close and ranger should have better handle on speed. We followed a foursome that would putt anywhere from 6 to 11 times per player! Nice to learn the game but pace of movement is crucial. Overall had fun and staff was extremely nice!
Not worth the hassle, just make it 9 holes
I showed up 45 mins early for my tee time with the intension of warming up. Immediately i was told "dont even go near the first tee" i guess there was a scramble that didnt want to be bothered . After coming off the 12th , i was told my tee time for the 13th would be in 45 mins lol... Granted i got out before that but was sandwiched in between two foursomes.. i then waited in the fairway of 1/13 for 14 mins . i finished 1/13 ,teed off on 2/14 got out to the fairway and waited for another 13 mins. while out there i looked back at 2/14 tee box and there were 12 ppl waiting to tee off(3 groups of 4) all waiting on me (a single) as i wait for the group ahead of me... Anyway , i left after 14 and wont be back .....
