Very nice course...always in very playable condition..
Thank you very much for your rating and comments. They are especially appreciated at this time while we are overseeding and preparing the golf course for prime winter conditions. We know there are inconveniences (watering, cart paths only etc.) but we do try to keep them to a minimum. We appreciate your understanding.
Watering
Would not have played if we knew they would be watering half the holes. Got wet and certainly messed up our shots trying to avoid the water.
We try hard to notify our customers of planned maintenance practices and what to expect. Obviously you weren't aware and we are sorry for that. We do hope you come back after the winter grass has gotten established
We are sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. We sent out emails to our database throughout the last month and notified the Third Party Tee Time sellers explaining the overseeding process and what to expect. Please come back once the winter grass has had a chance to get established
we had found the condition of the course not to our satisfaction. The sprinklers were turned on on most of the t-boxes and fairways, the greens had fungi and very coarse grass on it. We also were distracted from the noise coming from the construction sides.
Overall, we experienced a better condition at our previous golf outings.
We are sorry for your disappointment. You played right in the middle of our winter overseeding in less than optimum conditions. I see that you have played before and had a better experience. Please come back after the winter grass has had chance to get established.

Greens a bit rough
The fairways are beautiful the greens a little bald here & there
The sprinklers were on a few Tee boxes as we were trying to Tee off through the afternoon

I teed off on hole #1 and there was a worker spreading a thick coat of sand on the green. This was in the middle of the day at 11:55 AM. We asked the worker to let us get ahead of him and he replied they were already sanded on 16 17 and 18 and he was sanding 1 2 and 3. There was no mention of sanding on golfnow and I drove over an hour to get there. You just can't putt on sand so I was very frustrated. I deserve a refund............
Please accept our apology for the less than desirable conditions. We are preparing the golf course for the winter and there are necessary cultural practices required. Please come again once the winter grass has established itself.

Total disaster.......
Today's round at Twisted oaks was terrible from start to finish the people in pro shop were rude, when I explained that it didn't say they were working on the course. They said they called Golfnow and they were told it was explained on their website. Well I just looked on Golfnow and of course its not there. They had a crew of people spreading sand on greens right in front of us during middle of the day. Also had sprinklers running all over the course. No ranger on the course at all so of course we were waiting at least 10 mins on every hole. I play this course quite frequently and its one of my favorite tracts. But I will say after today being told by the old grinch in the pro shop to never come back. I will gladly take your advice and spend my money elsewhere. In the next few weeks look for an article coming out about this debacle of a place they call Twisted oaks . It is definitely Twisted at least the people there anyway.
Please accept our apology for the bad experience. We began notifying our email database in early October of the planned maintenance practices for the end of the month. The overseeding process, cart regulations and irrigation cycles were explained in detail. Emails were sent out weekly. Additionally we notified all of the Third Party Tee Time sellers so that they could notify their customers of the planned maintenance. Preparing the golf course for the winter season is an arduous process and for a facility that is open 7 days there will be some inconvenience, We try to notify all of our customers of what to expect, I am sorry that you weren't and had a bad experience.

The course is in really good shape, some Tee boxes need some work. There keeping the housing construction away from the course. Very challenging corse.

Nice course nice lay out greens starting to burn on the edges. Overall an enjoyable course liked it.
