Twisted Oaks Golf Club

The greens were like a 7 on the Stimpmeter.
They did not appear to have been cut the day we played.
Fairways are fair.
Layout is decent and fun.
Not worth playing this course unless the greens are cut shorter.

Had not played this course in about 5 years.Very surprised ,course was in good condition.Ball sat up on grassy fairways,and putts rolled well on good greens. Three of us played 18 holes in a little less than3 hours.People were on course but moved along well.Will definitely be going back.

Had a great time at your course. One of my favorite courses in the area. The only problem I saw was that the greens were not mowed. I saw you had fertilizer put down and that could have been the reason. Me and my foursome plan on playing there many times throughout the year. As I said before, it was very enjoyable. Keep up the good work

Fairways lush.
Only complaint - Grass on greens almost as long as fairway.
We played early AM, with a lot of dew on greens.
They were very slow.

had played this course earlier in the summer and was surprised about how much better the course was this time around. looks like they are bringing the course back to where it used to be.

Staff ho-hum. Bring your umbrella because they don't care whether you are on the course or not when they decide to water it. We played three greens through the sprinklers. The best thing about this course are the carts. Equipted with ball and club washers, plenty of pep,all new, Greens are slow but in pretty good shape as are the fairways.

A great day in the sun and a lot of fun as well. Worth the ride. I made for a great day in the outdoors.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Twisted OAKES, which was in good condition despite the greens having been over seeded only the day previous to our visit. We loo forward to returning soon.

nice course able to hit a driver on all holes.tees and fair way are in good condition but green need work.

I'm probably your average weekend golfer but I was really impressed with the overall feel of this course. Super friendly staff and well maintained fairways. The course has a really cool feel which offsetted the greens which could use some attention. Overall I was pretty content.

Course was in good shape except the greens were very slow. Place of play was terrific. Overall nice course.

The fairways were in VERY GOOD condition but the greens overall were in pretty bad shape.On several greens we had to move our ball just to have a put that wasn't over dead or damaged grass.The bunkers were recently raked and were in pretty good shape.We paid $13 and for that price it was a pretty good deal but at the regular price of $27 we would not have been very happy.The girl at the lunch counter didn't seem to want to be there and it showed.I would not recommend this course at this time but when the greens are in better shape it would be a nice course to play.

I've played Twisted Oaks many times because I like the layout, and it is usually in very good shape. This time, however, the greens were in distress. Nearly every green evidenced patches of significant distress. The flags had been placed in the better areas, but any long putt was forced to pass through some of the bad areas, resulting in bounces and deflections. We teed off very early, but we never saw a green that had been cut - roostertails on every putt!

After reading the reviews, we were hesitant to play this course but we did go ahead and are SO GLAD we did...this course was beautiful. The greens are a little rough, the fairways great but it appears that staff are trying to fix the greens. We will definitely play here again...

My group and I have been trying to get the time to go to this course for a couple month. What a let down. There were probably 11 out of 18 greens that weren't puttable. The grass was way to long to putt on. There were a couple holes that were pretty cool but most of all just a plain course. If I could get a round for 10 to 12 dollars and they fixed the greens I might go back.

Loved the fairways, they are in great shape however the greens aren't so great. The 16th hole had a temporary green set up due to the condition of the regular green. It's a great layout and if the greens were fixed it would be a awesome course.

Holes 1 & 16 have temporary greens, but fairways and other facilities are good.

All greens were in terrible shape. I have played this course often but has never seen the greens this bad. I would give it a 5 on a scale of 1 - 10. Fairways and tee boxes were good.

This course used to be a very nice course but it now is a cow pasture. Greens were horrible, fairways were weed infested along with lots of red ant mounds. This is another course Golf Now should eliminate from their list.
