Spectacular
This course never disappoints. Always in pristine condition and a georgeous lay out. Very playable from a variety of tee boxes. Greens are quick and true.

Blown Away
Twisted Oakes has always been in pretty good shape year round, and this time was no exception for the most part. They've started building more homes all around the course and with wind gusting to 30mph it was like being in a dust bowl. It's hard to imagine how much the views have changed with all the construction, some parts of the course sure don't look the same. The greens were in good shape and the fairways also. There were some tee boxes that were mostly bare ground and that should be addressed. As a famous actor once said, Ill be back.

Great layout, greatday
Weather was perfect, which does not hurt. Despite the construction, the course was in good to excellent shape and fun to play, They serve, easily, the best fries in the area!

1 of the few courses around with grass
Best course around regardless of the cost. All other courses are almost all totally void of grass in the fairways. Tee boxes are always void of grass but that's the only bad part, we can live with that. Great layout, player friendly, undulation everywhere, While the greens are in very good condition, here is where u may lose some strokes. Staff is great, can't lose with this one

JUST GO PLAY THERE!
One of my favorite layouts in central Florida. We drove an hour from The Villages to play there. Too expensive in the Villages. Tees OK, Fairways good, Greens Excellent, Layout wonderful. Get a good deal from Golf Now and enjoy this great track.

Great layout that needs work
I love the layout at Twisted Oaks, but unfortunately the conditions are just fair. Back tees were almost absent of grass, and the greens are still spotty with poa annua grass setting in. Its a fantastic layout - every hole is good - just the condition is sub par.
Thank you for rating the golf course. Hopefully the conditions you are referring to will improve once we get out of transition. This is a particularly hard time of the year for a golf course that overseeds for winter players. The heat is stressing the winter grass and the summer grass is just coming out of winter dormancy.
Weather was good, windy on back nine.corse was dry, greens not as fast as they looked.Putts didn't role true.Hard to get a good lie on fairways due to lack of grass.Overall this course is a good deal for the money.I would recommend playing and will play again.
