About
Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course is home to an 18-hole Championship Course as well as a nine-hole Executive Course. Both courses were designed by Charles Ankrom across a gently rolling landscape of mature trees and winding lakes. The Executive Course provides great practice before the Championship Course but it is also a great place for beginners to learn the game since it is player-friendly enough to appeal to all ages and skill levels. For more advanced players it provides a quick, enjoyable round that can be played in less than 90 minutes. The layout is a mix of par 3s and par 4s with no par 5s. There are a few strategically placed bunkers but overall the golf course is geared more towards a less experienced player. In addition to the two courses, Boca Raton also offers a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Starter had attitude problem
The starter was very snobbish. Scolded us like grade school kids when we went to the first tee “too soon”. Pointed at us with and with a snarl said “wait right there” .
Course in great shape!
Played this course a few years back and it wasn’t in good shape. This year, Boca Raton is worth every penny to play.
Great golf at a great price.
The course is well laid out and was in very good condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I am looking forward to playing here again.
Good value
Aerated greens but that was expected. Always a pleasure to play this course

Distance indicators in golf cart was a welcome addition.
Not bad
Cart girls are great! Course is always in good enough condition for the price. Last week got rained out and they gave me a rain check for 2/3 of what I paid after playing 7 holes, was happy about that.

nice course and good value for the money (although you pay more through GolfNow than paying directly at the Pro Shop.
I like the course and the staff
For a municipal course, it is well maintained except for sand traps. One would think in Florida there would be very good sand to put into traps. Here the sand was very course with little pebbles. Aside from that critic, greens were excellent, fairways were in good shape. You could tell that the course has a great grounds crew for sure. This is the second time I've golfed at Boca Raton Municipal golf course and really enjoyed each round. I will go again. PS: I had a golf now coupon that explains the same price paid to play on the course.
