About
Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course is home to an 18-hole Championship Course as well as a nine-hole Executive Course. Both courses were designed by Charles Ankrom across a gently rolling landscape of mature trees and winding lakes. The Executive Course provides great practice before the Championship Course but it is also a great place for beginners to learn the game since it is player-friendly enough to appeal to all ages and skill levels. For more advanced players it provides a quick, enjoyable round that can be played in less than 90 minutes. The layout is a mix of par 3s and par 4s with no par 5s. There are a few strategically placed bunkers but overall the golf course is geared more towards a less experienced player. In addition to the two courses, Boca Raton also offers a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Nice course
Course isn’t overly long has a decent amount of water is challenging making you think of your second shot for most holes pace of play was fine being that it is the summer rate was very reasonable course is well-maintained clubhouse could be seen to have some upgrades but the staff was very friendly on the course.
Overall pretty good place to play
The greens are in very good condition; moderately quick and roll true, and areas surrounding greens are in good shape. The fairways have not yet healed: still have furrows from maintenance and a fair amount of lies pretty much on hard/bare ground: (needs water?). Only in one bunker and it was fine. When the fairways are better it will be great. Cold water on the course is a big plus: it can be pretty hot this time of year.

I've been told the course is closing, which is too bad, There are some challenging holes and the greens were in good condition. The fairways were not however, I was getting better lies in the rough where there was more grass.
nice course
Boca Municipal is a nice course and priced about right. Conditions were good. Being Memorial Day, the course was not very busy. However, there was a twosome that started just before us and they were terribly slow - not criticizing their quality of play but their PACE of play (fishing for balls, leaving their cart far away so they had to walk long distances, etc.). We saw a Ranger and told him and he told us to give them a few holes and see if they picked up the pace. Well, the ranger never came back and this continued for 9 holes. Fortunately, they didn't play the back 9 so we were able to play much quicker as there was, and never had been, any groups ahead of us. Ironically, as we started on 10, a different Ranger came up and asked up to pick up our pace of play as there was no groups in front of us. He had just started his shift and didn't realize we had been held up for the whole front 9!
Will be nice when maintenance is completed/healed
Overall a very nice course. Only problem was a fair amount of not-so-good lies (no grass or in a furrow) because the fairways had been recently maintained. Will definitely be back. Pace was a few minutes slow, but OK. Staff were all good.
Decent layout, friendly staff, and meeting my neighbors
Course was a bit chewed up today. Fairways verticut and greens punched recently. Should be better in a week or two.

The course was in good shape! The greens were a little slow ! But overall course was good!
Slow pace of play
We all know the course is closing soon, and being moved out east.
The conditions were fine. Greens were good. Lots of bugs on the course. They need to spray.
Pace of play is so slow. 4 some of old men in front of my 3 some backed up 5 groups behind d us. Called the pro shop twice to come out and they said “they are on pace”.
Guess the old people have to stick together.
Mind you season is over down here and that 1 group of 80 year olds held everything up.
Good Track
Greens are good nice speed. tees are good. Fair ways have been airrated.
Love this course
Played here a lot, it’s busy at this time of the year but course conditions are great and can’t beat the deals.
Nice course, poor staff
Went to go pay for my round ($65) and my wife who wanted to ride along. Guy behind the counter says 'we don't allow spectators'. Then he says I must pay full $65 for my wife who doesn't golf. That's the first time in 30 years of golfing that any course has ever said that. I ended up paying the full $130. That guy and the starter were definitely very poor hosts. Not a smile to be seen anywhere.
Other than those 2 malcontents, the course itself wasn't half bad. Decent condition and fairly interesting layout.
