Boca Greens Country Club

Huge holes all over greens and t-boxes.

This place is getting killed in reviews like it’s the worst place to play golf and it’s simply not true, Hollywood Beach or Miami Country Club makes this look like a palace. It was my first time here and the layout is great, it’s very fun to play for the Money and you get what you pay for. The course conditions are definitely a conundrum, Most tee boxes were ok, I’ve definitely seen worse, but a few were bad. The greens were ok at best but at least were not slow. Most of the greens do have grass issues and others have weeds or damaged areas that need work. Most fairways are good and some do need work. I guess they employ a landscaper instead of a superintendent because they can’t get the course in the same condition throughout. They clearly can grow grass on 1/2 of the course, so you’re left wondering what’s going on with the other 1/2 of the course. With just a little bit of effort the course could be great. It’s not as far gone as the reviews would lead you to believe.

I’m NOT saying it’s anywhere near the quality of Nice public Boca courses like Osprey or Boca Raquet, but it’s at the level of Boca Dunes or Southwinds. They are not that much better conditions wise.

I can’t speak to the Range or restaurant because I did not use either of them.

Worst golf couse I have ever spend money on .Ugly tee offs, ugly fairways, ugliest greens ever.

We were pushed around by the staff to start on number 10 out of order prior to our tee time. It was an absolute disaster.

This course should be closed and sold for real estate.

I enjoy Boca Greens layout and the way the keep the course in great shape. I travel up from Miami to play with friends here and it's worth the ride. One problem we had was someone taking my wallet as we were taking our bags from the carts to the car. Very unfortunate and left a very sour taste. Although I won't return anytime soon, if you keep an eye on your belongings, you'll have a good time playing here. Thank you cart guy Jose for your help and for returning my call.,very courteous and professional.

Le terrain manque d’entretiens. Les allées manque de gazon, les départs sont souvent en sable et les verts irréguliers. Le prix devrait être sous les 40$ compte tenu de la piètre qualité. Cependant beau layout.

Not much to like about this course other than the layout. Clearly the maintenance budget is less than $0. Aeration clearly has not been done in years. Tee boxes are sand, the fairways are mostly sand, the greens are patchy and bumpy, trees need triming, and so much more.

The pace of play crawled to a halt. On one par three we had 3 foursomes gathered with another coming off the previous green. I left after 12 never to go back!

Was not happy with the 25.00 additional charge for my wife (who does not play golf) to come along and in the golf cart to watch me play. Other golf courses did not charge for her to accompany me. They charged more for her than I payed to play a round of golf at twilight. Very unreasonable. Would not come to golf here again because of that.

Overall the course was in pretty good shape. Most of the greens were in good condition but several bunkers have drainage issues. Like most Fl courses there's water on many holes. Already booked our foursome for next week.

They would not issue rain checks. We stopped after 9 holes due to heavy rain falls and thunder (no lightning). No clue why they wouldn’t do it.

I would not play this course again anytime soon! I was honestly embarrassed that I brought friends who were visiting from out of state to play this course this past weekend.
