Boca Greens Country Club

I took my out-of-town guest there so we could play, the course was nice the staff was great the pace of play was good. However the rental clubs were an embarrassment, my friend did not travel with his clubs , so he needed it to rent and I think the clubs that he was offered were 30 years old. Come on guys you can do better than that!

Course is a nice challenging layout with holes that have lots of character. What it doesn't have is lots of grass. Or sand in the bunkers for that matter. The greens complex surrounds are primarily bare dirt/sand making short game recoveries an unfair challange. Need to spray the crabgrass sprigs on the greens. And can someone do something about the stench from the putrid water feature at #16, it was like playing golf on a decaying corpse. I wish they did a better job at upkeep here, it could be a gem.

Greens good condition and fast. Many bunkers flooded but playable.

I used to love coming here. nice smooth course usually. Always a great experience with staff. The course however, terrible.

we've played here several times and truly like the course. Greens were very fast but in good condition. seemed many tee boxes being reconditioned , so not in best shape. Only complaint is the bunkers, they are always like hard pan, like the don't rack them to get them soft for play. costs shots trying to play from the bunkers ....

Arrived 15 min b4 tee time. We were put right out on 1st tee.

Tee boxes and fairways were choppy.

Missing lots of grass in chunks.

Greens were sliced as opposed to punching.

Many bear spots on the greens.

Traps need sand.

Nobody fills in divots with sand, nor do they fix ball marks on the greens.

Gone severely down hill this last 2 years.

Nice course layout very friendly staff. Greens had just been punched but overall in good condition.

Good luck putting if you are not on the tour. Otherwise, fun round. Good layout, some easy holes, some tricky. We were playing well under a 4 hour pace and were told twice to “pick it up” although no one behind us. That threw us off a bit. I understand being told to speed it up if we were behind pace but we were well ahead of time and not holding anyone up so we were annoyed from the get by the way we were treated. Good bang for the buck though at the end of the day.

A course good for locals in the area looking for value.

They are working on the tee boxes. Greenside bunkers needs work.

pace was extremely slow and had to wait on every hole for a monday around 10am. No beverage cart. Fairways had some areas that needed repair. staff was friendly.
