Very enjoyable course ...superb greens and fairways
Lovely challenging course
My first time playing this course, very scenic with rambling fairways up and down. Greens in great condition. The weather was windy and wet but didn't take away from the enjoyment although it affected my scorecard. Used it as a practice round as our society was up there the following week and I had a great day in completely different weather, sun shining and hot.. even managed to see a deer on the fairway on the 9th hole which was a great sight!! All I need all a fantastic course
Real Gem of a Course
Played this course with my two sons ages 14 and 8 on the warmest day of 2017 so far.
Course set up was a little confusing as next tee box was not usually where you would expect to find it after finishing the previous hole.
On the day the ground conditions were hard and the greens like lightening. Not a particularly long course but sloping fairways and hidden greens provided a real test for us all.
A beautiful parkland setting with some magnificent trees coming into play throughout the course.
Well worth the return trip of 110 miles!!
Good course. Worst greens ever played on
Good practice area and good varied course. The worst greens I have played on. Could not put from 3 feet with confidence. Patchy and bumpy enough to ruin what would have been a good round otherwise. I can not stress enough how bad the greens are.
