The course is well run but the greens have been in rough shape for quite a while. Otherwise, a nice place to play.
Love it
Always looking forward to playing this course. My wife & I enjoy this course as it is challenging for our skill level. We find this executive course in great condition and staff very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended
Slow play and in need of some TLC
I have played two rounds at Boca Dunes, both of which left me feeling less than satisfied with the course and course management.
Pace of play: The "starter" said the average round should take 2-2.5 hours. Both rounds took well over 3 hours...
No course marshal
Course condition. The rough is cut low, and the course is dry, and both the greens and tee boxes are in need of TLC.
Summary: the course layout suits high-handicappers and new golfers, but with no Marshal, we spent more time "watching" golf than playing it...
My favorite course
Newer senior golfer, so the 10 Par4's and 8 Par 3 are perfect for working on my short game. Staff is super friendly and helpful, easy to get tee times if you call ahead. Cart is included in pricing, membership is available and reduces cost of rounds. IMHO, the course is in great shape, especially for a county owned course. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

No Garmen yardage reading ability does not exist. Price is fair. Improve tee box is needed. Course personnel were great. Should offer more Golf Now deals, very few.
Golf for practice the short game
Terrain that is super beautiful from afar but conditions of departures and greens have deteriorated since november…
Phil the Starter is the best!
Course is nice and the game play was fast. Phil the Starter is one of the nicest people you could meet and more courses need a Phil. I like the idea of each cart having a rake. First time playing will definitely be back.
It’s a Gem
I always look forward to playing this course. It has everything to offer for my style of playing. Course continues to be in great condition. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended
Par 3 Heaven
Mainly par 3. One hole looked like a par one. Only one bathroom around hole 12, clean but a bit smelly. Greens were average, not great. Other than that I enjoyed playing there.
Enjoyable
Has quite a few longish holes for an executive course. Can be slow as some players are weak. Greens were very fast. Fairways are cut short.
Rough
Course is in rough shape for being season. Fairway grass is full of weeds and greens are patchy .
Needs some help
I enjoyed the layout and the tees and fairways were decent. Greens are recently punched, and subject to some sort of disease and we're really rough.
I'll come back in a few weeks to see how things have progressed.
