About
Situated just minutes from the Gold Coast beaches in the heart of Boca Raton, Southwinds Golf Course enjoys warm ocean breezes and lush vegetation. Water is a prominent presence throughout the course. Water hazards come into play on 16 holes. There are also mature trees throughout that will play a deciding role in shaping your shots. The golf course offers some enjoyably difficult holes but overall the challenges are manageable. Each hole is unique offering everything from opportunities to "grip it and rip it" and others that are defined by trees and lakes. The golf course finishes with one of its many water holes but on this par 4, you have to hit over water twice. In addition to the golf course, Southwinds also offers a driving range a putting green with a practice bunker.

Great
Was very impressed with the overall course conditions. Greens were on the fast side, but very satisfied with this course. Some of the other municipal golf courses in the area could take a lesson from Southwinds on how to put a course back into condition after a major storm.
Best round
It probably my best score ever. A 34 3 birdies 2 boggies.
I found my fairway finder drive and birdied 8 and 9 with 12 footers.
Great hot deal at South wins
Played here many years ago and it is better than it was back then.
Great time
Have played this course only a few times, however, my wife & I enjoyed playing here. Found it to be very challenging and met all of my expectations. They joined us with another gentleman golfer and he was a super enjoyable partner. Also found staff very friendly and courteous. Looking forward to returning
Good value for the green fee
I am always looking for last minute good deals. This golf course popes up, We grabbed it and it was a nice experience.
Challenging
Challenging course. Tight fairways and a lot of water. They have an ice machine and water but didn’t supply cups.
BACK TEES
It was fun played with 2 very nice college students.

We're so glad all of our hard work has been noticed after Hurricane Irma. We even recently completed replacing the netting around our range and it is now fully open again. We hope to see you again soon.
