Boca Greens Country Club
About
Boca Greens Country Club is like most Florida golf courses in that it has a rather flat landscape with plenty of water, but it stand out for its scenic views and challenging but player-friendly layout designed by Joe Lee. Water is a prominent presence throughout the course and there are also numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with, but these difficult elements are nicely balanced by ample room off of the fairways. One of the trickier holes is the par-5 17th, which is almost completely surrounded by water. The layout has a few challenging holes but overall a range of skill levels can play the golf course. There are also five sets of tees to make it even more approachable. Boca Greens C.C. boasts an enjoyable and fair round that is one of the area's best values.

Terrible greens
I’d say the worst green conditions I’ve ever witnessed! Save your money don’t go to Boca Greens if you don’t want to putt through a sand trap in the middle of every green.
Stan
Staff are exceptional..Will is highly professional. Greens have otholes on them. Tee box are poor and fairways need seeding and watering badly.
A Terrible Excuse for a Golf Course! Better defined as a Goat Ranch!! /
Course in horrendous condition, greens are loaded with sand, weeds and some punched. The fairways are basically bare of grass, tee boxes are like hitting from sand traps.
Could be a great course.Close it for a year, fix it up than charge double or more...
They seem to be tryjng to improve
Course was in a bit better shape than dec 25. Temp green on hole 1 trying to let it recover. I think they are slowly trying to improve, but has a long way to go. Prices are good though, so good value.
Employees are great. Service is superb. Layout is super. Most greens need much work. Tee boxes need attention. Fairways need seeding.
Absolutely Terrible
Wouldn’t play again if it was free. The greens look like someone did motorcross on them, and the fairways and tee boxes are terrible. This course has been completely neglected and I feel like you have to legitimately try to keep a course in that bad of condition
Do not play unless you don’t care of course conditiins
The course layout is very good. The conditions of this course were absolutely horrible. It seems to have been totally neglected. The greens were in terrible shape. There really was no fairway. Riding in the golf on the fairway felt like I was driving in a street filled with potholes. It really was a shame as the course layout appeared to be very good. The tee boxes were not very well marked.
Cow Pasture
Truly sad to see a beautiful golf course, going down in the dumps. I wouldn't play this course even if they allowed me to play it for free. You've got to be a special kind of stupid to play Here.
Worst course played in 30 years
Coming from out of state and reviewing pics of the course I expected to see a gem considering the location. Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed in the look of the place. My playing partners who are regulars there warned me just prior to tee off that the course is in rundown condition and that the owners are not doing enough with the upkeep.
The tee boxes hardly had enough grass on them. What remained of the fairways were nothing to applaud. Most fairway shots we had to move our balls and seek out a bit of grass to hit from. Not doing so we had to play from the dirt or possible sand that is placed on the fairway to fill the many holes and patchy areas.
The greens were the worst i had seen in my 30 years playing golf. Every ball on the green had to be moved to find a decent putting area. The greens were all chewed up. in many areas there was sand covering the chewed-up areas which also made it almost impossible to putt on them.
It is shame that they are charging to play this course which is in total disarray. I will not recommend this course to anyone and will tell any interested in playing there to take their money and game elsewhere.
Even if it was a free round I would gladly decline. It certainly does not worth the money.
No good
This course used to be good, but they do not take care of it anymore. The greens are unputtable, the tee boxes are bumpy, theres leaves all over the place. Yea its cheap, but theres other cheap courses that are better. This one should be like $15-$20 a round cours for what they are offering. It was bad, I almost went to the club house to complain.
You get what you pay for.
There are few courses in South Florida during the “season” for under $50 and once you’re on them, you know why the price is what it is. Boca Greens is in rough shape from tee to green. The tees are chewed up, the fairways are barren and the greens are a mess. The solution seems to be sand to just cover up whatever the problem might be. The back is rougher than the front but the front is plenty rough. There might be six decent fairways in the 18 holes and there are no good greens. Your putts will involve lots of huge patches of dirt, sand or weeds. The bunkers have lots of rocks, including golf ball sized ones. Best plan is rake and place so you don’t ruin a club. The sand itself is pretty good once you rake it. The staff is very friendly and it’s still a busy course despite the conditions. It’s a price bargain but you get what you pay for.
Groundskeeping needed ASAP
The course is in very rough shape. The fairways have many dead spots, and spots just full of sand instead of actual grass. The tee boxes are exactly the same. Dead grass and sand. The greens though have it all. Sand littered over the greens, dead areas, and very unevenly grown grass. Sinking a putt would be mostly luck, as there is little to no way to read the greens with all the hazards. The sand will easily trap your ball too, so if you don’t fly off the green hitting a dead patch of grass, then your ball just dies right then and there again.
A Disaster
I've played over 1.000 different courses and this may be one of the worst conditions I've seen. Dead Fairways, Dirt tees, craters on greens. I wont be surprised if it closes soon.
