About
Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course boasts a championship course as well as a nine-hole Executive Course. The Championship Course is challenging but playable thanks to four sets of diverse tees. The rolling landscape is dotted with lakes and mature trees that provide challenges throughout. The fairways are wide but they are bordered by a thick cut of rough and strategically placed bunkers surround the fast greens. There are also a few holes that feature hidden water hazards for added difficulty. The layout offers a number of tricky holes but overall it is a very player-friendly golf course. For less experienced players or for those looking for a quick round, the Executive Course is an excellent option that can be played in less than 90 minutes and there is also a driving range and putting and chipping greens.

Great Value for the money!
Excellent course. In very good conditions. We had a great time. Definitely recommend to play at this course if you are in the area.
Quality course - good challenge
I enjoy this course as it provides a good layout and a good challenge. It was a bit slow but still finished in under 4:20.
Monday's are tough as they sand the greens but still a good test for your game

Nice layout, course was in nice shape. Fun to play @ a very reasonable price.
Lovely course
Playing on saturday afternoon. Very busy, but the systems works perfectly.
Onthe course we hardly had to wIt more than 1 or 2 minutes at the teebox.
There is lots of water on the course but it does not come into play very often( if you can hit strait.
Overal in just over 4 hours our 4 ball were back at the 19th.
The course is not particularly difficult, except for the greens which are fast and sometimes difficult to read.
We all scored well.
Wonderful course
Fairways and greens beautifully kept.
Not too many hazards, great for newer golfers like myself. Beautiful views.
Look forward to playing there again.
Best Municipal Course
Had to start 20 minutes passed tee time. round then took 4:45. Nice condition except greens were sanded for maintenance. Probably wouldn't have booked if known. Management has to better enforce players to repair ball marks on greens. They were excessive. Alligator sunning across pond from #9 green was fun. Overall good venue!
Surprisingly Good!!
Pace of play was great. Greens were true & fast,especially for a public course
Being from the NY-NJ area, greens fees were very reasonable.
Try this course out for yourself.
DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE
I can't make this up. We made up the 3 holes we started behind by the 6th hole.The lady took 5 practice swings on each shot & hit 2 shots per tee, the man took 4 practice swings and seem to fall asleep before hitting his shot. On #12 while we waited the lady walked across the fairway to the bathroom and he wouldn't wave us up. The "players asst (not a marshall) told me he didn't talk to golfers or enforce pace of play?????? In the pro pro shop I was to come back tomorrow if I wanted to talk to someone"who gives a s--t "I assume
Could Stand Improvement
Course conditions okay – fairways are hard with some bare spots and little cushion. Greens generally rolled true but slow. While overall playing time was good, pace of play was excruciating, with two or three groups waiting on every tee and down time before every shot.
Holes well designed
Very nice experience. But heard they were selling to a developer. BIG MISTAKE!
pace of play is terrible
First the good stuff....friendly staff, nice layout, great conditions even though the greens were a bit slower than I expected.
Bad stuff: this is probably the third time I have played here in about 12 years and consistently the pace of play is absolutely horrible. I'm not sure what the guys riding around in the "player assistance" carts are supposed to be doing but they're better off stocking their carts with drinks for us poor souls that are waiting for 20 minutes between shots. Never again.......
