About
Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course boasts a championship course as well as a nine-hole Executive Course. The Championship Course is challenging but playable thanks to four sets of diverse tees. The rolling landscape is dotted with lakes and mature trees that provide challenges throughout. The fairways are wide but they are bordered by a thick cut of rough and strategically placed bunkers surround the fast greens. There are also a few holes that feature hidden water hazards for added difficulty. The layout offers a number of tricky holes but overall it is a very player-friendly golf course. For less experienced players or for those looking for a quick round, the Executive Course is an excellent option that can be played in less than 90 minutes and there is also a driving range and putting and chipping greens.

Greens are about 2 years old & in excellent shape. New carts with GPS. Overall course in best shape I can remember in playing there over 20 years.
Extra bonus, best beverage cart staff, anywhere!
Pace of play can get frustrating.

kind of slow play, Could be fixed, like all courses. rangers need to tell all "WHILE WE'RE YOUNG". to young and OLD
Surprisingly a very good course to play
One of the very good courses in the area. Fairways, Greens, layouts, etc. are all in good shape. For the money, you can't beat it.

Always NICE
Play here a couple of time a month and it is always nice. Course is in great shape. Pretty forgiving track with wide fairways but some trouble as well.
Only complaint is the course is always crowded and rangers are fairly non-existent. Plan on 4+ hours every time or you will be frustfrated.
This course is very good value for the money
The Boca Raton Municipal Course is a reasonably challenging course that is fairly well-maintained and which offers a good variety of golf holes. The staff is friendly and efficient both in the pro shop and on the course. The greens were slow but rolled true. They had been aerated a couple of weeks preceding our round and there had been little rain in the interim. Yes, I would go back!

Great muni and nice people
Loved this course. Will play a lot here. Put in new back tees on the fronts par 3s which are a must play
Coarse is in excellent condition
I also like the GPS in the golf carts. The rough is cut a little high, so keep a good eye on wayward shots. The coarse is very forgiving due to wide fairways and large greens. Even after missing the fairway with my drive, I was still able to hit the greens in regulation a few times.
Course needs maintenance upgrade on tees,fairways and greens.
Facility is showing it`s age. Relying on tourists and snowbirds to support the golf course in its`current state,is a mistake for the future of this golf club.

Great conditions-natural-Bang for your buck
played this course a few days ago with one of my buddy's and was amazed at the course conditions. Tee box and fairways flawless, quick true running greens, great layout and cheers to greens crew and superintendant for not pulling a west palm beach and laying down every tree they can find. 8 bits, what a steal!
Super place to work on your short game
My short game needs work so I took advantage of this nearby public Executive, par 30 (nine hole) facility for a price I couldn't resist through Golfnow. I found the course in great shape, especially the greens which were as good as I've played all summer (even at private member tracts). The staff was super friendly, and as a result, I had a very pleasant and productive short game outing.
Decent course for the money but not overly impressed compared to reviews.
There are more than a few courses that provide a much better golfing experience for the value around the area. Had fun but I won't play here often. THere were more than a few holes that seemed crowned....stood there with a buddy and putted from every side and the putts were breaking away from edge of hole from every side....very frustrating when you are playing well and every put turn off at the edge from every angle. I'm guessing whoever maintains this course didn't do a great job and pulled up the grass when they were punching the holes. Only second time playing it so not sure if this is a normal problem.

It is easy but not a pushover specially from the Black Tees on a windy day.
The Championship course is in pristine shape. Nicely designed to.
If you truly want to see PERFECT greens do not miss the opportunity to play the EXECUTIVE.
During the summer you can play at very reasonable rates for both.

Th course is good for a local municipal course. It is well maintained and challenging enough to keep it interesting. I play it at least twice a month.

Unexpected treat!
I wasn't expecting much...just a quick round at a local muni. However, I was impressed with the condition of the course, especially the greens. Excellent! You can tell maint. staff is working hard to present an excellent golf experience. I'll be back.
a very enjoyable experience
pound for pound, hole for hole, and excellent customer service, that is why i play golf here, when we are in town, several times during our stay.
