Championship at Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course

Nice course. It would be great if they had a cart person who sold drinks on the course. I've always found the staff to be a bit coarse and not very friendly. It's as if they're doing YOU a favor by letting you play there. I'll plan on playing again, mostly because the price is right. If it were $50 a round, I'd go somewhere else that has amenities and a nicer staff.

Course is in great shape given all the recent rain. Greens are superb and pace of play was very enjoyable (3.5hrs)

The course is in excellent shape all around. The Greens were especially nice and guess what, they were consistently great with all 18 holes. Every trait you would consider talking about with a golf courses condition was great. I will definitely go back.

Boca Raton Municipal is a great value especially in the summer months. The pace of play is good and the course is challenging. Not sure why, but the starting times are odd. We were a threesome. The starter put a 4th with us which is fine, but they put a single behind us. No sense to that. Our 4th and the single paired up and played through. On the back nine, they put a twosome right behind us. No need for that with the pace of play and the limited number of golfers. Otherwise it was a great day.

While visiting the area I searched and found this course and based on the reviews I pulled the trigger and played made a tee time. I was paired with three guys that were clearly buddies based on their banter. They had already teed off when I was called to the tee. I normally play from about 6000 yards or so but they were playing from the blues at 6458 (per the scorecard). I said the heck with it and teed off from the blues.

The fairways had recently been plugged but they were quite playable. I did roll a few balls to be free of the holes. The tees the were in great shape. The greens were the best greens I’ve putted on in quite some time. I was very impressed!!! They had been plugged recently but they are almost healed. None of us had a putt that was affected by the recently aeration.

I had some trouble with the length of the par fours from the blue tees but that’s my problem. All of the par fives were three shot holes for me and my foursome. The par threes were varied and playable. I loved the layout. There was a 30 minute downpour on the back nine. We sat it out and finished. The greens flooded from the rain but by the time we reached the first one after the rains they were fine. No standing water or sloppy areas on the green.

Now for the sad part: the course is about to be plowed u deer and developed into real estate. If this course is still around the next time I’m in the area I will try for a tee time for sure.

Was completely blown away by how great the conditions were given current circumstances. Pace of play was unbelievable (played 18 in 3 hours and 17 minutes). Furthermore, the greens were the best I have seen in a long time and allowed for fair scoring opportunities. For the $30 you can’t go wrong and won’t find anything comparable in terms of value. Carts also have gps which is a huge plus. Will definitely be back next week.

Well got there and got two holes in. Hard rain came in and the course was closed. When I asked for a rain check I was told to call Golfnow for a rain check or refund. The starter that I spoke to was rather rude about it as well. I would be happy with ether. The problem is Golfnow doesn’t seem to take calls anymore and directs you to cancel your reservation from the app or the site. When I try that there is no option to cancel this reservation, I would guess because it’s after the start time? I had to google their customer service email because it’s so hard to find on their site. I emailed them and have gotten no reply to date. Pretty sure I will never use the site again.

This was my 4th time playing Boca Muni and will absolutely play it again and again. It’s in great shape especially for the price point. I recommend this course to all.

Friendly staff & great day of golf. Pandemic has changed a lot of things and this course has gone above and beyond making everything seem less.

Pretty decent public course. Well maintained, decent green speed. Some challenging holes and a really good layout. It is a public course so popular times will be a slower pace of play.

Greens and tees in great shape. Driving range and practice green also in good order. Lots of water and some narrow fairways made it a challenge for me.

This was the first time I played this course the staff provided a professional attitude and service the course layout was surprisingly great from tee's to greens the only issue was the weather it was HOT and you can't blame the course for that I'll be play this course again very soon and reccomend it highly and if you don't have a great golf experience it won't be the fault of the course or staff.
