cart rates
A little extreme with the cart fees, 12.00 per person, way to high. Used to get 2 beers and a spicy dog for 25.00. Cut the cart fee in 1/2.
Course is great for beginners
Very easy course to play easy get my best scores every time I play but if you’re looking for a long course this isn’t it. But sometimes slow because some people aren’t the best that play at this course.
Good value in OC
One of the only remaining public courses in South OC that provides good value. Short but challenging. Greens in good condition. Tee boxes, creek and fairways could use some work. Need more drinking water stations around course. Pace of play is notoriously slow, no marshalls to help move things along.
Enjoyable Day
I recently got back into golf and I have played the course a few times in the last month and a half. It's close to my home and is a great price. I will continue to play the course because it is well maintained, and they keep it moving and again great price. I can also get a round in within 3.5 hours.
NICE GREENS
Course played very well. Fast greens and tricky breaks inside 6 feet from the pin.
Ubder New Mgmt--The City
The city of Mission Viejo has now taken over operations at oso Creek formerly Casa del. Sol.
No real upgrades to the course layout . . . just extra eating areas.
It's all quite nice, but you'll have to decide if it's worth the significant increase in green fee price.
Pace of play was on the slow side the Wednesday early afternoon when I played.

Oso Creek
Pace of play was Great, 3 1/2 hours on a Saturday. Friendly starter and staff. Very nice clean restrooms on course. Course and greens in very good condition. Looking forward to playing there again.
This is a well keep course for a public course! Fun to play with a good layout. Fairways are kept in nice condition. Greens are in good condition.
They took out the driving range which is the only downside.
Impressed
Golf course condition has improved tremendously. Despite the parking lot filled to capacity the pace of play was very good. A very pleasurable experience.
New bar/grill needs to have hard liquor/mixed drinks. Understand closing dining room for change over but patio should remain open for drinks.
Father Son Time
On a week long whirlwind tour of 4 golf outings in 5 days with my 15 yr old son. He’s getting ready for HS. We enjoyed this Executive 18 Hole course. Greens were emasculate, the guys in the pro shop were kind. Food wasn’t that good on hole 10, but still a 4-5 star in my book.
Fun course
Overall it’s a fun course to play, don’t need your driver more than 2 holes maybe. Long irons/fairway woods. Pace of play can get a little backed up, but other than that it’s fun. The restaurant and outdoor “snack shack” on the turn is cool too
No Marshall
Great course but no marshall to keep the pace up. group of 3 in front of us. I was in a group of 4. 4 behind us and 4 behind them and we just waited and waited for the group of 3 forever. The group in front of the slow 3some was 3 holes ahead of them at one point.
