Oso Creek Golf Course

Oso is a great place to learn. Pace can be a little slow sometimes because it’s a learning course. But it’s pretty and everyone is friendly

They don’t call it oslow creek for no reason. This course is a complete rip off. 100 dollars for two people to play a par 3 course that they stack people on top of each other. We played 10 holes in 3 hours. This is course is only 3k yards, you should be able to play 18 in 2.5 hours. Btw this was 100 for two people at twilight! I don’t know how they are getting away with ripping people off like this. I will never play here again.

Fine smaller course with a few longer par 4s where you can let the big dog eat. Pace of play here is usually slower than average, and you get some groups who are playing music from Bluetooth speakers or getting too drunk. Used to be a better value at $35 with a cart on the weekend at twilight, now that’s $50.

Course is in good condition- fairways and greens. However, it’s probably just me but, I like a little more than a 1/2 inch of sand in the traps before I hit concrete. I actually piled some in one trap and put my ball on it. Didn’t help. I still hit hard pan. I know, the beaches in California have heavy sand erosion and this may be the same issue. Also, I was only in a half a dozen traps so maybe the rest are ok. But the rest of the course is pretty good. And I liked the pace of play. Nice staff too.

Nice staff. But, bumpy, sandy, Aerated greens and SLOW play. Too many people on course. Marshalls not much help with slow play.

Showed up for a tee time today and was told the greens were being aerated. That would have been fine if I would have realized they were aerating the same time that I was playing. There were temporary greens that were not mowed and they charged me full price with no remorse. Just fyi, they are aerating the fairways the entire month of October and it will be cart path only throughout. Stay away from this place for at least the next month because I guarantee they will charge you full price for unplayable golf.

8:00 am T Time, it was wet and misty but the course is in great shape. Sure, a few funky patches on some of the fairways but overall great shape. Greens were good. Pace of play for us was under 4 hours. My girlfriend has been playing only a short time and we were paired with another couple that played the same. We had fun. Staff is was friendly and efficient. Will defiantly come back.

Great course. Affordable with great amenities and fantastic staff.

Be careful when you are here and checking in. Staff is shady and rude.

A few days ago me and my girlfriend where playing here and we walked up to check in. Everything was normal and great and they didn’t say anything. We came with our normal bag of snacks and a lunch cooler that had waters and beers in it. They never said anything to us about no coolers when we walked up and we placed everything into the golf cart that we were assigned too. We then proceeded to use the restrooms before we played. When we came back they had gone through all of our stuff without our permission and stole our lunch cooler and held it behind the counter and wouldn’t let us have it. Apparently In their policy they say no coolers or outside drinks. When we walked up they never mentioned or asked anything or wanted to search our stuff. If they had asked we surely would have shown them and returned the items back to our car. They purposely waited for us to walk away to search through all of our belongings and bags. My girlfriend had her purse in the car and who knows if they would have stolen her phone or money or whatever they found.

Very unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable and would never recommend anyone to play here. If they did the right thing and asked us when we walked up and told us their policy we would have followed it. The fact that they went through all of our stuff without our permission and searched around was very rude and unprofessional and a violation of privacy.

Facility is beautiful. Course has a good layout but the fairways are in pretty rough condition. A little better upkeep and this place would be gem.

Greaat course for a 3 and 4 par player. Great condition.

Oslo Creek was a short course, but fun. 12 par 3,s, 6 par 4’s. Busy, but not overly slow play. On the back, it opened up and we moved along quite quickly. Fairways were ok, greens and bunkers were good. Only 2 sets of tees, which worked well for my wife and I.

Staff was exceptional. From the check in, cart guys, restaurant staff after the round, were professional, courteous, and friendly. The food was also good.

If you want a 7000 yard championship course, this is not for you. A fun round with friends, would recommend.
