I had high expectations for this course going into it based on what I had read AND the price! I was immediately disappointed, the tee boxes, fairways and greens were in horrible condition. I had golfed SC Muni 2 days prior and it was in much better shape. The layout and views of this course were great but the golf was in the top 10 list of THE WORST golf courses I’ve ever played. I will not be returning!

This course was very expensive and it was in terrible shape. I would never recommend it to anyone else because of the condition and the pace of play

The employees were not any help, they didn’t care about our concerns or the situation with extremely slow play. The conditions were nearly unplayable, with many bare dirt spots around a number of greens. The other greens were burnt out completely.

I paid over $150 dollars for this course and it was not worth the price, not ever close……

While I do not mind paying for a course and its amenities when they are in good condition, not all but many of the fairways were in rough shape.

I haven’t played here in a couple years but it was always one of my favorites. Last time was just before the installment of the new range monitors. Anyway this place used to be pristine. Green lush course with perfect greens and fairways and tee boxes. No brown or bare spots anywhere. We all used to praise this course for its consistent conditions albeit slow greens.

After Thursday, I doubt I will be back. The course is in the poorest condition Ive ever seen across 30 rounds in my lifetime. Staff in pro shop and bar were outstanding though.

Very nice course in very good condition. Proper amount of challenging and playability. Staff was very friendly. Note they do not take Apple Pay.

Outside of a rude starter, the course is absolutely stunning.

Positives:

Great driving range with optional shot tracking.

Course in very good condition with plenty of challenges ( ie. well placed bunkers, narrow landing areas on the back 9, some curvy greens, plenty of thick rough)

A good mix of holes using changes in elevation, and water to add to the challenge

Playing from the Blues some tee shots required carry but if you can carry 210 you will find a safe landing area.

Friendly pro shop staff.

Negatives:

Bag guys seemed to be stretched thin so were little help in getting me set up on a cart.

No starter so the first hole tee off was a bit unorganized.

Pace of play was 4 hours 40 minutes. No Marshall around to encourage slower groups to speed up.

Weekday snack bar very limited options

To be clear, he positives outweigh the negatives. As a 14 handicap, I found the course the right amount of challenging but fair.

The tees, fairways and green are mostly in very good shape. I would definitely repeat.

Really enjoyed this course. Greens were perfect as were the fairways. Friendly staff, cheap beer. What more can you ask for. Challenging holes on the back nine.

From your first welcoming hello, the staff is outstanding! Are the courses even better. While the front line is more of a typical neighborhood course, the back nine is well worth the wait! Trust me. From the bobcat we saw years ago, the views are worth the price alone, and the golf is an added pleasure. Immerse yourself and enjoy the total experience.

I booked the tee time four days in advance. Never was told it would be path only or the course would be soaking wet due to over seed. Along with the range would be closed. Showed up and found all this out. Every person coming back from playing was complaining what a joke it was and their shoes covered in mud. Not once did anyone say sorry and they will get better. I always liked playing here but no way can I support this course after this. I know nothing will change because there was not one bit of understanding when I voiced my opinion

To pay $150 for a course that's in the worst condition is robbery. The back nine has always attracted me to this course and I know they overseeded 2 weeks ago but the fairways are in terrible condition and not mowed. You can pipe a drive right down the center and not find your ball. And to charge $150 for the course in this condition is just robbery. Just stay away from this course. They think they're much more than they are.

They punched the greens a few days ago and cart path only. There was no notification on GN. Found out in the morning. Driving range was closed for whatever reason. Course was wet, muddy and rough was about a month overgrown. This was my second time playing here, first time was pretty good but this day was no bueno.

Cart girls were around every few holes which was nice.

Lunch after the round had a weird vibe inside.
