I do love all the ducks. I just feel bad bc this course attract a lot of beginners, and I have literally seen a player whack a ball straight at one of the ducks who I definitely don’t they made it to see another day Photo submitted by Chupapi7 on 03/20/2023

Oso Creek Has Made Improvements
Oso Creek hasn’t always been the best course in the area but they have really improved their layout and green in the past couple years (since the city MV took ownership) and now it one of my favorite places to play for the price ($30 on weekday morning). Also the Terrace by the Green has also made improvements and it’s a great place to hangout after you finish your round!
Great value
Course is well-kept, greens run true. One of the best courses for the price in Orange County.
Great exec course
This course rates well above typical "executive course" Plenty of length and challenge for high to midhandicap golfers. Can use all the clubs in the bag. Very appropriate 18 hole walking course for SoCal. Fairways are a bit spotty, but greens, tee boxes and sand in good condition, and greens roll true. Friendly and efficient staff. Pace can sometime back up, but this is not a problem in general.
Even low handicap can sharpen the short game on this course.
You cannot beat the price for a SoCal course.
Great little Golf Court
This place is a great course for above mid range golfers. The Course does not frustrate you. Almost everyone playing there was local and very casual about the game.
The staff is great. By the way there is no driving range, but after the first whole you realize it is not a big deal. There is a very nice restaurant (Ok, it looks very nice, I did not eat there). If you are looking for peaceful , stress free golf, this is the place.
Big change
Fairways looking way better than the course did a few years back- A few dry spots but nothing major. Greens are looking great and for an executive course- it’s a fair challenge in any wind. Easily walkable and great fun.
It would be nice to see sand/seed boxes on the T’s. For a walking player it saves that extra weight!
Good job.
Horrible customer service at check in
Booked a tee time for 6:20pm since it was available and when I arrive I don’t even get greeted. The first thing employee checking people in told me was “We’re closed.” I stated that I had already paid for a tee time online and if they were closed why would it let me book the time. He then tries to tell me that I’m late and can’t go out when I still had over 10 minutes for my tee time. After showing him my confirmation from GolfNow he finally said I can go out but that I had to return the cart by 7:45pm then proceeds to throw the cart key in my direction. I golf here at least once every few weeks and never experienced that and now will think twice about booking a tee time at Oso. Go elsewhere
Great shape
Since city of Mission Viejo purchased the golf course they have made many improvements
A nice short course
The course is in great condition. It’s a short course where you don’t need your driver much at all. It’s a favorite among the seniors in the area. Plays slower for an executive course but not horribly slow. Off course amenities are great. Recommended when you want to enjoy a relaxing round and catch some drinks and food after with your friends.
