Bonita Bay East - Sabal Course

Really enjoyed Sabal course. Round came with lunch, which was tasty. We got it to go and ate on the course. Ice towel and water stations on the course helped us beat the heat.

Saw lots of dear and hawks and an alligator. Course had pretty generous, open fairways which was a welcome change (for me). Staff very friendly

Sabal is a beautiful course. When you come to the holes surrounding the large lake it is amazing! Gorgeous sights from any point on the 4 holes that work their way around the lake. It can be easier if you play a shorter course from a closer tee. If you choose a harder tee then you will encounter more challenges.

Great practice facility too.

Try using the GolfBoards if you want a challenge. Tougher than it looks but quite fun. You are standing the entire time and in the sun so it is not for the weak.

Pleasant staff whether ProShop, Bag drop, carts, ranger, resturant.

Course very well maintained, always see 20 people working whether cutting grass,, bunker maintenance, weed control, rangering.

'Bring your vacuum' ... the fairways remind you of a green carpet! Picturesque holes - front nine easier then back nine. Wide fairways, side water. If hitting from back tees, you got a test. Front tees no test till 10 thru 18 as hitting over preserves or close in side water. Some rolling mounds on some holes. Side gulleys exist both off fairways and greens. Better in them then water!

Fast greens to put. Practice putting green will show you that as it continues to the course. Could get dry with no rain and this will impact course. Yes there's shade at tees.

Good eatery there for lunch or an after round liberation.

If you get a chance to play this course, don't pass it up.

Great track with exceptional Greens. Sand was perfect.

This course is a nice getaway from tbe typical boring florida course surrounded by a cheaply built cookie-cutter housing development. The conditions are phenomenal. I work at another course in the area, and always recommend this place. The staff was nice. The restaurant is great too.

Fazio courses, well conditioned and a relative bargin given some of the other courses in the area and their green fees. I will go back.

A beautiful, well maintained golf course with greens that were running at 13 the day we played.

A challenging but fun experience.

Nice layout- peaceful calm settings with wildlife- very fair course even from long tees-excellent greens- real quick but consistent! Will play again when back in Naples

From the 1 st hole to the 18 th the views only got better. Fabolus greens and fairways.A Fazio Gem.

My guest and I golfed Bonita Bay East (Cyprus Course) on Tuesday February 26th. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The course was very forgiving off the tee block with wide landing areas. The degree of difficulty was increased by pin placements, bunkers around the greens and very fast (running 12 on the stimp meter) but rue greens. Course conditions, although not pristine, were in very good condition. The Players Assistant did an excellent job at keeping the pace of play at 4 hours even... very enjoyable. Cart girl was friendly and the price of product was reasonable. We will be back.

Friendly staff. Great practice facilities. Fairways and greens great shape.

The people playing this course were very slow in front of
us, and we were pushed by the people following us for
18 holes. They even hit into us on a par 3, while we were
still on the green! Playing golf already 6 weeks in Naples
and booking with you, we did not experience such a
horrible behavour. We did not enjoy playing in Bonita Bay,
as our game was disturbed by the people behind us
for 18 holes.

Great value for such a good course. I played Valencia earlier in the week and wished I would have just played BBE Cypress twice.

Very well maintained course. Very playable off the tees but you have to be carefull coming into the greens. Greens are fast running 13 on the stemp meter at 13 with subtle breaks throughout. Fun to putt.
Wildlife all around. We saw many wild turkeys and deer throughout the round. Marshall told us they also have bobcats and a panther on the course. Really enjoyable day.

I really enjoyed my round. It starts a little open and easy (like the sister course) but gets a bit tighter earlier. In fact this 18 switches it up well -easy/tough. The traps are not deep and there is little water but it does make you think and each hole is very separate from the others + no houses. The Par 5 (11th) is a brute into the prevailing wind! The greens are (like the sister course) very fast and quite sloppy - look out!

I would probably rate 3.75 for the course as it was not quite what I expected and not that appealing to me. If you bomb it from the tee you will be fine as there is virtually no trouble off the tee. Approaches into tricky greens are key. The green surfaces undulate but not crazily and the roll is true and fast. The back nine is more picturesque than the front. 3 of 4 Par 3 holes are long and tough.
With the course conditions and reasonable rate I would recommend.

We teeed off at 2:45 and we were able to get 18 in while it was dusk while we putted. There were no hold ups and the greens were fast and true. A great valur for an afternoon tee time.

I have been lucky enough to play some of the greatest courses in the US, but these two courses have the best greens i have ever putted on. By far the best two courses that a person can get on in South Florida.
They only negitinve is that it is a non tipping course and with the amazing service you recieve there it is uncomfortable to not be able to tip the staff.

Played most of the top courses in SW Florida (Tiburon, Twin Eagles, Old Corkscrew, TPC Treviso Bay, ... ) and Bonita Bay - Sabal ranks right up there among the best. On the day we played the greens were running 12+ and very true. As always, if you can get on the course at a discounted price then it makes the whole experience even more enjoyable!
