Not again
Played the course with three other people. We were anticipating a fun day of golf at a top of the line golf course.
It didn’t take long for that to start downhill. One of the players is handicap and has trouble walking. We parked the car in the only handicap parking space before going to the drop zone. The manager was a real jerk giving this guy a hard time on not dropping the clubs off first.
Next was the check-in. We gave them our name at the desk with our tee time only to be called “reciprocals” and nothing else.
It gets better. The Marshall asked us to pick up our pace because we were falling behind. If he took the time he would’ve seen we were not the hold up but the ones in front of us were teeing off twice.
After our round we hit the restaurant only to find the waitress was on the edge of being rude.
This place should rename itself to “Snobsville”!
Worthwhile experience
Was a guest of a member, who also lives in the community. From driving in through the gate until I drove out the experience was top notch
Check in was easy and staff was great. Practice facility was superb ( I could have spent hours there!)
Typical Nicklaus design where you can hit driver most of the time but the game is. Really about your approach shots and putting ball in right location. Greens are a good size with lots of slope.
Course was very fun to play but also a good challenge. Definitely a must play if you can get invited
Fun Layout
Two courses at Twin Eagles. Played the Talon, which is a Nicklaus course, and find it an interesting 18 holes. Lots of traps and strategic use of water, but not so prevalent that it intimidates you from having a good round. Fairways for the most part are generous. Large and well maintained practice area and particularly like the chipping/sand practice facilities. Natural setting with lots of deer, bunnies, and haters along the way.
driving range was beat- no grass, no access to lockers for non - members
DRIVING RANGE HAD LITTLE GRASS ON ALL TEES. NO ACCESS TO LOCKER ROOMS TO WASH UP IF REQUIRED.
Wide fairways, excellent greens, bunkers need more sand
Played both courses preferred Tallon. Wide fairways greens in excellent condition. Bunkers could have more sand.
Clubhouse best that we have come across in Florida with friendly staff.
Good course to play not super hard.
Course was in good condition. Greens are flat for a high end course and were very slow. Excellant range facilities.
average.....
I marshalled this course for the ACE in Feb....could not believe how much the condition of the course had changed.....we were sent to the non-member driving range which was in terrible condition....my home course fairways are in much better condition than these....
Fine layout with good variety.
Many sand bunkers, both fairway and green side. Water comes into play on a few holes, but the bunkers provide the major challenge. Although numerous, the bunkers do play fair. The greens on the Talon course were also quite fair and true. We were told that the greens on the Eagle course are more challenging.
Nice course good value
I liked the course. It was fair but challenging. It is out of the way but a good price. Played it twice while here.
Great layout with challenging but fair features.
Great course. I would definitely play it again. The layout is fair and challenging. The greens were in excellent condition.
Great deal to play where the pros play
Was real happy to play here with this place hosting SR. Tour and LGPA events everything was top shelf. Even in a downpour that latest the whole round I enjoyed this course a lot. Hope to play it again when I,m in the Naple Fl Area
High-end Price, Average Conditions.
Played the Talon Course at 2:30PM. The course was not in great shape. Some areas had little or no grass. Greens were sanded, but rolled pretty decent. Bunkers had two inches of sand and a rock hard bottom. Barely worth the ninety dollar fee. Definitely not worth over one hundred dollars.
Challenging but fair.
The times I have played at Twin Eagles have been some of the most pleasant rounds I've had in Naples.
Challenging but fair course, fast greens that roll true.
Wide selection of tees makes the course as playable or as challenging as you like. We played as a two-some and had no trouble playing in four hours - no hold-ups in front of us.
I like the layout of the course.
Greens in good condition, running around 10 or 11.....tees need some attention, fairways thin, sand thin in some of the bunkers, needs plenty of attention before ACE CLASSIC. Like Eagle better Talon.
Nice Round of Golf
When we teed off we saw the group in front of us on the first green. Never saw them again and never saw the group behind us. Course was in great shape. Greens were fast and tricky.
Just a very enjoyable round of golf.
Lovely Day, Lovely Course, Enjoyable for All Levels
Certainly enjoyed the course which was in perfect condition. It was a delight to play, although we only played 9 holes. Course had touches that wished I brought my camera. Simply a great time!
Vgud course, reasonable price.
The Talon at Twin Eagles is a good value, especially if you play in the afternoon. The course is forgiving and in good shape. Not a home run, but playing the same course the senior PGA does is pretty cool.
Fun course
Nice layout with many challenging holes. Course is in very good condition. Staff friendly and courteous.
