Gainsborough Greens Golf Club

Course was in good condition, new golf carts are in great condition with GPS and an esky full of ice. Only saw the drinks cart once, but made good use of it.. Got around in a reasonable time despite groups on all tees.

It’s a regular course for me and I would definitely recommend to any player regardless of their handicap.

Had a great day of golf at Gainsborough Greens. Very interesting course with nice fairways and greens.

Friendly service and people treated us well. Buggies go a bit mental if you stray off the paths but apart from that I found the whole day very pleasant.

I could recommend this course to anyone who wants a challenge with a view. Thanks.

Solid little couse, relatively short which slows it up a bit.

Was booked solid on a sunday afternoon.

Would play again.

Course is in good shape. Challenging layout. Pace of play was terrible. Almost 5 hours to play 18 holes. Group in front of us took ages to putt at every hole. Too many groups on the course at one time. They should space out the Tee times and have a marshals to enforce speedy play.

I have played the course a few times and had the same problem every time.

The golf play and the day were ruined by the unkindness of the staff.

I have played Gainsborough many a times but I don't know if I'll return as I am so over playing 4hr rounds on my own on a Sunday afternoon! No one ever let's you through. The course is always jammed pack more then it could handle and its cheap so a lot of people go there, it's about money rather then having a nice experience while you play.

It is a mint course though, it has the perfect variety of holes. Just don't hit in a bunker cause there is more rocks then sand.

Today we started after 11 o’clock the first tea had three groups of people there waiting to Teeoff so by the time it was our turn to tee off we were already running about 15 to 20 minutes late but that’s not the worst bit everybody seems to be going slow especially the group in front of us which had three members playing but yet we were waiting after every shot before we could take our next one it’s not really good enough paying good money

Great little course, grounds were a little rough in certain spots from Rain but it'd be very pretty when in good order

While not overly long each hole requires good shots with the right shape to score well.

Had a good day at golf at today. Social golf the pace was good, the course a little damp after lots of rain but greens and fairways fine.

Charged full rate and no mention during online booking of state of course, a few holes unable to be played or had been modified after rain a few weeks back. Carts had no GPS as advertised. 10 minute wait to tee off each hole was so busy. Played 8 holes and saw staff in pro shop to explain disappointment. All I got was excuses and a final word of ‘there’s nothing we can do’.

Is weird that the pro shop could not do a refund or offer the option to play the round on another day???? I get that they lost business because of the weather but charging full rate and then blaming the booking site is dodgy. Won’t be back.

Hadn't played here for a long time - the course is low lying so if it's been raining the place is flooded ... Greens are really nice - fairways good but if it's wet and you miss left or right you're in the swamp. 1 hole out of action and short tee's on another. Confusing layout if you haven't played there before and no real signage to help you out.

One of the best course layouts in south east Queensland. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. And the grounds men do an awesome job even when you get a tonne of rain!!
