Freshness
Green grass, clean fairways, cut greens. What a nice course the feel of every shot with your iron of the turf leaving my senses questioning if this is what the professionals feel.
Disappointed
Iv played here many of times and it just seems to get worse and worse. So many sloppy wet patches throughout fairways, bunkers are a mix between sand and small stones which made a mess of my wedge, fringes were terrible to chip from as they were really wet and soft, the 8th fairway was basically un playable and it was more a mud track rather then a golf fairway. I said last time I won’t play here again due to the course conditions VS price and I did but will not do it again unfortunately. Drop the price to $60 a round and the reviews might be better.
Pricey
Course is pricey but enjoyable. Wondering why on a Friday hardly anyone playing. Played 18 holes in 3 hours. On scorecard they offer lunch special but there isn’t one. No one in clubhouse.
An afternoon where in part the course did not win
I always enjoy Palmer Gold Coast. Since 1994, when I first played the course to more regularly since 2005. Palmer Gold Coast (formerly Robina Woods) has always been special. A true members's course wherein it is a shame that regular competitions are not played with fellow lovers of the great game.
On the afternoon in question, the only thing that got me was the pace of the greens. They were faster than my memory of the course could remember. The course is in great shape, so the poorly executed golf shots were where I lost some good scores. The back nine seemed better as I connected better with the ball.
All in all it is hard to fault a timeless course which challenges golfers of all levels. Until next time.
Fun afternoon golfing
Great course enjoyed playing. Just a shame club house was shut once we had finished around 5pm on sunday
Good Conditions
Course was near the best it’s been for a while , only a couple of greens were a bit average but overall she’s lookin good !!!
Great layout. Fun to play
Conditioning was fantastic. Great layout through the woods. Have to keep it straight, but holes not too long off the whites so fun as you get to use most of your clubs for your second. Had the course to myself.
CS
Very nice course, Each hole required thought and skill
Course in good condition
The course was in excellent condition which made it a pleasure to play.
Amenities look rundown. .
Nice course
Course has a decent layout. Fairways and greens were in good condition. Couple of bunkers unplayable.
Not bad
The course was in pretty good nic, I've always enjoyed the layout here and the way it plays. I often find I use nearly every club in the bag which is a nice change.
It's a shame the facilities aren't what they once were, but overall it's pretty good. Cost per round is probably a bit steep compared to the rest of the courses on the GC
