Glades Golf Club

I’ve played Glades numerous times and always look forward to a round there.

Unfortunately, the course is in very poor condition at the moment. Bunkers have weeds and not much sand in them, greens were patchy, cart paths and bridges need maintenance.

Currently overpriced for the state the course is in.

As a frequent golfer at Royal Pines, I am always on the lookout for a course that offers a change of pace without compromising on quality. The Glades, designed by the legendary Greg Norman, has proven to be an excellent alternative for those seeking a fresh golfing experience.

Set amid picturesque surroundings, The Glades boasts an impressive 18-hole layout that seamlessly blends with the natural landscape. The course offers a thrilling challenge for golfers of all skill levels, thanks to the strategic placement of bunkers, water hazards, and undulating greens. Greg Norman's signature design elements are evident throughout the course, adding a touch of his unmistakable "Great White Shark" style.

The fairways at The Glades are immaculately maintained, providing a pristine playing surface that allows for optimal ball striking. Meanwhile, the greens are fast and true, rewarding well-judged putts while punishing those that are off the mark. The course is also well-drained, ensuring that it remains playable even during periods of heavy rainfall.

One of the standout holes is the par-5 7th, which offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding wetlands. This hole requires a precise tee shot to avoid the water hazards on the right side of the fairway, followed by an accurate approach to a well-guarded green. It is a testament to Norman‘s design.

I’d recommend anyone play here.

I have played the Glades many times and always enjoy it. Yesterday was somewhat different. The drinks cart on the 9th advised we won't see him again for the rest of the round so grab what you can. I went to buy a sandwich and was advised he wanted to save them for the people who were playing earlier holes and that I should take a detour to the clubhouse before proceeding to the 10th tee, what the???

When we finished our round the same charming staff member was frantically emptying golf cart ice boxes and frantically parking carts away, he asked had I emptied my cart which I was in the process of doing so advised clearly not yet.

I can only assume his finishing time was fast approaching or had passed.

Why would you not have a drinks cart operating all day is one question and I certainly expect a better experience when paying $100 for a round of golf.

Very disappointing The Glades, I hope this feedback is acted on.

Beautifully layed out course with many interesting water features and shots to the greens. One or two greens need a little more attention but in general they putted well.

We had a warm friendly greeting Fromm all of the staff who all helped to make this an enjoyable experience.

The course is in great condition. The greens are a great challenge throwing up some big breaks and the bunkers are well placed making you think on your shot selection. At the same time I didn’t feel the course was brutally punishing me for minor inaccuracy. A fair and challenging layout which I’ll come back to next time I’m in town.

Played for the firs time and totally loved the course and layout, some really tricky holes and especially loved the Par 17th which was a highlight. Cant wait to play again, great value

Greens were totally covered with sand. You could not putt with any degree of confidence. Was never made aware of this until arriving at first hole green. Very disappointed in the conditions of the greens and lack of information provided when checking in. Would not recommend this course until they repair their greens. Certainly not worth the green fees charged.

페어웨이도 넓고 잔디 그린 상태도 좋아서 아주 즐겁게 골프 쳤네요.

Played previously and course was wonderfully maintained. Greens terrible. Rest of course ok with the exception if many of the bunkers which had drainage felt exposed. Not worth the green fee when compared with green fees at brookwater or even nudgee.

Love playing here, course is in great Nick and the staff we super friendly and helpful

Short trip up to the coast so really happy to get on at a great price and also play well

Really nice course, enjoyed every bit of the round, just a little slow but still got around fairly well.

Nobody raked the bunkers, there were not marshalls or food&drink carts on the course. They seem to pack a lot of people into the booking, lots of groups of 6 players
