About
Lake Lawn Resort spans across two miles of shoreline along Delavan Lake. The resort was founded in 1878, making it one of Wisconsin's oldest leisure destinations. Its proximity to both Chicago and Milwaukee has made it very popular. The championship golf course was not added until 1921, but it is still one of the area's oldest. It has a traditional layout that was revamped in 1990 but the original character was carefully preserved. The course is known for the stately oaks that are abundant throughout the course. The mature trees frame the holes and demand accuracy as well as creative shot-making. There are also deep sand bunkers strategically placed along Lake Lawn Resort's greensides. The greens themselves are quite tricky and varied too. Some have subtle but tough undulations while others are multi-tiered.

Great value
Friendly staff. Course was in great condition greens were very smooth with good speed and consistent but also very challenging. Beautiful views will try to get my golf league to go there but it is a long drive for some of the guys.
Great Course
We played this course a few weeks back and it was in great shape. Also, the staff was very friendly and made things easy. I recommend!

Wow! For Wisconsin. This is a total disappointment. It’s not a resort course at all. Except for the price.

Senior trip
My parents have visited lake lawn since the 1960’s. I am fortunate enough to take my boys here for their senior trip from high school. They played on high school golf team at home in Arkansas. Great course and a wonderful time at Magestic and Lake Lawn lodge. Will be back again
Picturesque setting
Well maintained course, with beautiful lake views. Challenging sandtraps with fairly forgiving fairways. Would have appreciated more (not sure they had any?) water coolers throughout course. Had sprinkler system going near on green affecting my shot. Overall enjoyable round and friendly staff.

Overall, very decent, but need a ranger out there for pace of play.

We played as a twosome and breezed through the course in 3 hours and 15 minutes - nobody in front of us and nobody behind us. It was a perfect weather day. The staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. I left my 8-iron on the course and it was saved for me in the club house. Great experience, thanks.
