Majestic Oaks at Lake Lawn Resort

Good course layout, but fairways were now mowed and you could not tell where the fairways ended and the rough started. There was no roll on your tee balls that hit the fairway because the fairways were not cut and had long grass. Therefore the course played LONG. Greens were good but some of them had brown spots on them. putts rolled well though. Need to cut fairways. Disappointed for the money.

Really enjoyed playing this course. Many of the undulating greens make it a challenge, so will definitely want to return and play there again.

Staff was very friendly. Golf Now deal @ $17 and worth every penny. One thing, your GPS may appear off. The nines were switched a few years ago so on some GPS's you need to adjust the unit from 1 to 10 on the fist hole if the distance appears off.

This is a nice course with a great view of the lake but the greens have a lot of winter weather damage that needs repairing.

I travel for almost an hour to play here when I do find a deal. Fortunately, weekday play in the early Spring hasn't been too crowded. I know it is popular with folks from Northern Illinois.

It is quite handy for me as I live in Janesville, Wi. It's a little pricey for me. But I was able to book it through Golf Now which helped lower the cost. All in all though a very nice experience I will definatly return thanks.

Lake lawn course was challenging. Average handicap of group was 7, and we all liked the holes. Will play again.

I started out solo but after 5 holes was met by a member who made it more fun and challenging!

Looking for a 3 1/2 hour or less round of golf? This is the place. Challenging par 3's scorable par 5's and a nice mix of various length par 4's make this an enjoyable 18.

Bring your own. My driver was dented and no sand wedge just a L wedge. Didn't notice till late in the round

With my wife 30 minutes early? Thanks to a very good course Marshall able to play through a foursome and we were able to play 18holes in 2 hours and 35 minutes. Conditions were very good and greens rolling true. I will definitely be back.

Pace of play was slow first 5 holes then took off. Course was In very nice shape. Greens rolled good. We were there to check out the whole resort in addition to the golf. Beautiful setting for a course. Will be back.

Since I was staying at Lake Lawn Resort on vacation, I decided to play the course a couple of times. The course was not extremely difficult but it had some challenges (note: I am a beginner). The staff was great (very friendly and helpful).

My one problem on this visit (wasn't true on the first one) was that I ran into a lot of course maintenance people cutting grass, etc.. They seemed to be following me around the course. I understand that maintenance is necessary but I recommend arranging it so that one party is not affected disproportionately.

It isn't just this course. But etiquette mixed with marshalls doing their job, maintaining the pace. Educating the beverage cart girls where to serve people , would be helpful in pace of play.

The back tees only play 6200, some par 3's are long though. Greens have great contour and roll pretty good.. Play can slow due to resort people - 1st timers, etc. I will look for another hot deal though.

Lakelawn is a good course to play. Friendly staff. Pace of play at times can be slow. Other than that I have played here multiple times and enjoy the course.

Other then a wet cool day, the wife and I have always enjoyed this course.

I hadn't played this course in many years. I was very impressed with the upgrades to the club house and the course was in great shape. If this deal came along again, I would definitely take advantage of it if I could.
