Ballamor Golf Club
About
The18-hole track at Ballamor Golf Club is renowned for its usage of the naturally hilly course in its layout. Brian Ault, the designer, utilized the natural terrain and thick forestry and also added subtle modern and traditional touches to create a unique golfing experience.
The golf course doesn't feature any "signature" hole, but each hole is different from the others and they employ the use of almost every type of golf shot. As a composition, the 18 holes create a course that is both challenging and fun. The course also has five sets of tee boxes. Another distinguishing characteristic of the course is its "go out and stay out" philosophy and layout. The golfer starts near the Clubhouse but doesn't end until the 18th green. This allows for a faster game and there is also a halfway house for refreshments.

Looking at the 18th green Photo submitted by Jeffrey6275494 on 09/12/2013
Havent played this course in a number of years, and I cant believe what my group was missing out on. We were down in Atlantic county for the annual trip. I try to book courses that fall under below the $60 range, so this course is normally well out of price range. Got a golfnow deal, and except for the typical midweek slow play by one group that slowed up all, this was the best course of the trip. Teeboxes, Fairways and Greens were all in fantastic shape
Nice Course
The golf course was in excellent shape as usual. Keep up the good work!
excellent course
this course is a great challenge.. ordinarily the green fee would be much higher but there was a deal on tee off. conditions were good for this time of year. i walked the course as i usually do, but was aware that there are some long hikes between a few of the holes that take some time to accomplish
Long time listener, First time caller.
Very impressed with the course condition mid April and after some aerating. We were blessed with medium winds and warm sunny temps. I may be bias because I shot an 85 on my first time playing. AND I opened with an 8! Fairways were aerated and some fringe areas were aerated. Both possibly two weeks prior. With that said, I would give the course an 8.5 for conditions. Layout gets a 10. It’s plenty challenging, yet not incredibly hard. 100% recommend!
Great course never disappoints
Teed off at 3 on a Saturday afternoon. Never waited and never pushed. The layout is superb. The greens rolled sweetly. Book it. You won’t regret it.
Good day
Greens were in great shape. Course well kept and drained real well after a heavy rain night before. Price could be more reasonable. But that's the norm everywhere now. Gouge and recover. This was a $50 Hot Deal? Mid April.. Not so hot. Only knock had that day.
Cold and windy but fun.
37 degrees and windy. Course was empty. Had a great time.
Great Course
One of my favorite public courses in South Jersey. Great course layout with plenty of challenging holes and a couple drivable par 4’s (in the right conditions). Several holes are far apart with enjoyable rides through the woods between them. Course is in good shape for this early in the season. Only downside was they were aerating the greens but you’re just gunna have to deal with that sometimes. They also have nice range, chipping, and putting practice areas. Highly recommend playing here.
Kind Staff & Wonderful Course
I woke up at 5:00 AM to drive three and a half hours south from Woodstock New York for my 9:30 tee time. My wife is out of town a few days so I had my little dog with me... I parked in the shade with the windows open a bit thinking he'd be fine. After a friendly hello and kind service from the bag guy, I figured I'd ask the pro if I could take my dog with me in the cart and he smiled and said... Sure no problem. Right then I knew this club was the type of club that puts their golfers first. Class acts all around. And the course was just as great as the staff. Perfect tees, wonderful fairways, and smooth rolling greens on March 3rd! I've got to admit I got hot with my putter on the back nine and had a number of birdies... The Greens rolled so nice all I had to do was get it online... All in all a memorable experience and well worth the long drive from New York.
Thanks, Guys.
